I think i will not go on easter holidays this year....damn Aopen...
Still no sign of the mobo here in US:(
Same here in Germany:
Alternate: still 3 - 5 days
oc-wear: 2 - 3 days (since 2 weeks)
Atelco: 3 days (10th of April)
*click*
mine here in acouple of days :D
yepiie
Me too. OC'ing beyond a higher predefined FSB speed is never a good thing AFAIK, although in best case it doesn't hurt. Like OC'ing a CPU which is recognized as 166 MHz beyond 200 MHz (or 266 MHz), instead of pinmodding first to the higher speed and then OC'ing.Quote:

No, I ordered there more than a month ago and it was 2-3 days then :p: :slapass:Quote:

Waus, did you already tried the new one? or is today the day? :)
Ok I just got my board, how do we get > 200FSB, in bios only 166 to 199. I figure I gotta boot to 200FSB - any jumpers for this? I hate connecting up the bsel pins, my fingers can't keep still :P
nvm found it
Why is my CPU always 18C though..?
In 22C ambients
Crappy sensor
So far she won't boot at 200FSB.
There we go - now she's rollin'!

yeah yeah, I was disgusted at the boxed cooler - serious c'mon, so I used a cooler that's not much better but that will mount with a heatspreader on teh core...
I spent most of Sunday calling Akihabara, of the shops that someone spoke english in they said all we're sold out and new stock arriving in three weeks, then found out none will ship to US anyway :D
Nice results kyosen :toast:
Will you try Stepping 8 Yonah ;)
Hehehe... Just might be the case.Quote:

The Deliver status is now again unknown here in Germany. :(
in most shops they say "verfügbar ab 13.04.2006"

Having that fsb wall really sucks, especially if you do not have a T2600 to play around with. My poor T2400 with 11x multi :(
dont worryQuote:

ths mobo can't set to cl3 at 800, my p5wd2ep did.
i think ths board are not good at timing.

grrr this is annoying
224FSB = 100% stable in everything
225FSB = instance freeze
nb a little warm - nowhere near p5wd2 warm

hmmm made it to loop 3 in pi 1M @ 225FSB by setting mem to 4-3-3-4 (cpuz says 5-3-3-0)

Who else had this FSB limit problem? You guys all have sample boards whereas our japanese m8s have final release and don't have this problem. Please, correct me if I am wrong

Tarosa tested with LN2 but he said M/B freezed immediately after he pored too much LN2 to caputure screen shot.
Anyway, below is modPI 1M @FSB278 screen shot by his digicamera:

Oh well, he is probably wondering why others are stuck at around 230+..:D
@ fred..
Man... im really jalous :(
Can you ask both if they are running step 4 or step 8 cpu?
And a motherboard sample or retail?
And can you please ask if they did something like mods e.d to go higher?
-------------
@ kiwi
I got lab sample - rev 00A
AFAIK, both of them are using retail M/B with step 8 T2600ES for sure.Quote:

Looks like Tarosa has a plenty of DDR2 memories to test:slobber:

OMG..... thats sure an enthousiast :P haha
wish i had like that.. then we could get rit of bad mem if thats the bad guy..
to bad tarose or tam hasnt a step 4 to test with.
:slobber: - holy moly...
So fred.. can you ask wich rev board they have?
I think that he owns a shop and selling them if I'm correct....Quote:

Tarosa said right out from the box he could reach FSB272.
I believe his modPI 16s' second under DICE/LN2 were with Vmod.
omg... and what rev board ?
....from where?.......:DQuote:

Hahaha, Tarosa just came back to OC after 5 years absence-- I bet he was busy collecting these DDR2 while he was sleeping:DQuote:

BTW, where is your setup details?
If you are asking so many questions, you'd better tell us.
The issue may be due to other than M/B itself.
