Did a little searching and found this first thing. Gonna keep looking around to see what else is out there. Now I'm at work so I can't check if it's corrupted or not yet.
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/so...5E/P5E0605.zip
omga that seems to fail for me & the old one posted by intrepid is still up & bad
I some good news about P5E w/bios 602!!
I was never able to get a 3.6ghz stable OC from my P5K Deluxe board w/Q6600 G0. The P5E is running stable at the speed!
Same memory and proc.
seems to be re-upped.
The new one is not corrupt.
Not at home to try it BTW :-(
Asus not providing detailed bios change logs is very unprofessional.
i'll be the guinea pig, if i don't post back it means it's bad :D
off to flash 605
haven't seen any changes in the bios so far, we'll just have to wait ASUS for a LITTLE information
here's a mirror for the lastest bios, i know we all hate to download from asus ftp
http://mkultra.qc.to/P5E0605.zip
im also with bios 0605 , samething as 0602 ( 4:5 divider no go , only with bios 0107)
regards
Interesting, from the 600 series only 605 is left on the ASUS ftp.
all the others were beta, it probably means this one is final
502 602 605 i got em saved on my desk top 602 installed think i'll wait to see what happens
Flashed the 605, but the 4:5 divisor still broken; unbelievable. After bios 0107 I lost this divisor and my top overcloking.
Thanks to Asus I miss the good old days with my Opteron and DFI
Tonight was all about 3D testing, but after I ran out of LN2, I did one run of SPI before the pot got to warm.
Not a clean boot, zero tweaks in use, mem was only running about 500Mhz cas 4, but there maybe power in this board after all.
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4690/spi8015qn0.jpg
Sorry guys, but I was wrong, the divisor that is not working is the 1:1. For some reason, when using high FSB, the board doesn't post using this divisor.
This is my setup:
Multi 8 x Bus 456 =3648. At 333 strap I can choose: 993, 1095 or 1460. For some reason 993 doesn’t work, only 1095
Went back to 0170
Anyone here Using the P5E3 and able to downgrade from BIOS 1001? Old AFUDOS do NOT work, neither does old ASUS Update Tool.
Any idea anyone? :(
hey askimo leave your strap setting on auto. just forget the damn thing.
Go straight to the divider you want and go from there. I repeat leave the strap setting on Auto!.
WZ
I already posted this reply to your last post:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...38#post2823438
AFUDOS should always work. Don't know why you're having trouble. Flashing a bios regardless of date or bios revision will always work with the DOS flash utility. What exactly is happening when you use AFUDOS? By the way, I assume you've tried ASUS EZ Flash 2 in the bios. I've never had a problem flashing to an old bios revision using ASUS EZ Flash 2.
May I suggest you download the AFUDOS flash utility directly from American Megatrends here:
AFUDOS v4.xx: http://www.ami.com/support/bios.cfm
Read the instructions and then click on "AFUDOS v4.xx" to download.
ALSO notice that they have AFUWIN v4.xx - BIOS utility with GUI interface
It has same command line parameters and behavior as AFUDOS plus a simple graphical interface
NOTE: I have not tested these utilities. I'm not sure if the AFUWIN will work with your bios. AFUWin (run from windows) states it doesn't support my bios (P5E). If you still have problems, check the forums and email Asus. Good Luck and let us know when you find a solution.
Hi.
EZFlash says "ROM is older than existing ROM" - and thats it. AFUDOS gives the same message. Switches /n or /pbnc do are not allowed. I used every afudos version I could get my fingers on ..
But I found a possibility: It is possible to flash the same BIOS version that is already installed, power off the system during flash and then the CrashFree BIOS function uses the mainboard cd to recover the BIOS. This "workaround" works ..
But also, Qfan does not work and all the temperatures do not change any more, regardless of the used BIOS version. CPU-temperature is always 26°C. No matter how hard I overclock or if system is idle. But it was like this since I did the first BIOS flash. With the release version, Qfan did work, but my CPU was not recognised correctly, so I flashed to 1001. I think I got a little buggy one here ..Now I'm making my way down the BIOS versions, trying to get Qfan and temperature reading working again.
Despite all this, the board runs fine, my E8200 can be pushed to 4GHz and Board reaches a max FSB of about 520MHz without changing a FSB related voltage setting. Not tested further yet, because of the temperature problems. Its not easy to overclock save, if you don't know about the temperatures .. ;)
flashed to 605 & Boom dead machine !!! right off the bat !
no setting for DDR1002 either
back at 602 I KNEW I should have stayed there !
EDIT >>>>
i had success on the flashing of the BIOS
but I could not set the DDR to 1002 with this new BIOS
& on the older BIOS(502 & 602) i was able to set the DDR at 1066 let it fail ,get the failed O/C page, then hit F1 to go back to the failed settings & THEN go into BIOS at the failed setup & then it would let me set it to a bunch of different setting that i could not set on the  1ST setting of the DDR
but with the NEW BIOS on settingg DDR to 1066 the machine failed & Died ..no way to get anything, BUT black screen, led lights & spinning fans
< -> NaDa ,nothing could get the machine to post
I finally had to switch the CLRTC switch to off & wait 5 minutes before switching it back on & then it went into default settings & posted
\at that point it booted into auto at the stock settings ...
then i flash back to 502 & do what i had done before & got stable DDR1002 soo I flashed agin to 602 & got the same thing >stable DDR1002< also there SOO I;m Sticking with 602  as it lets me play around with settings that are not there in the New Bios
Wierd is all I can say !
I think it's the X38 chipset & they are wildly different from each other
Dudes, Are there any software to monitor NB & SB temps & voltages and Vdimm with Asus P5E3 WS PRO? Everest doesn´t detect those sensors.
There are no such sensors, I guess.
It is official after all: http://support.asus.com/download/dow...n-us&model=P5E
P5E BIOS 0605
1. Support new CPUs. Please refer to our website at: http://support.asus.com.tw/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx
I got a Q9450 today
cant boot over 435FSB with P5E
my friend also bought a q9450 and cant boot over 437 FSB on Asus Maximus
Check "Transaction Booster" setting in your bios, if it's Auto or Enabled, please try to disable it, I can use 4:5 divider by this way on any verion of bios later than 0107.
0602 allow my Q6600 running on 3728 Mhz, and RAM running on PC2-8944, I wonder if 0605 can lift them even higher, will stay on 0602 for a while.
i also heard X38 not good for 45nm chips
im runing prime95 3400mhz @ 1.23v /1.24v
http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/417/3400124vwd7.jpg
i want to try in P35 to see if its better , but PCI-E 1.0 ....... (im waiting for 9800GX2 that arrive in 7 days , maybe better pci-e 2.0 )
regards
That's real helpful Asus. You have several betas before this and all you can say is that? I'm really annoyed at Asus. Why won't they provide a proper change log like Abit. Asus has some attitude.
Oh, and their CPU support page, 0605 is not even mentioned. 0502 is the latest bios to support "new cpus". idiots.
The X38 runs 45 nm chips just fine. The P5e runs any and all dividers just fine. at least as far as your mem will let it go.
Asus does not tell you with every bios update that it runs the latest cpu cuz after 5XX they all run them.
The best bios out for running 45nm is currently 601.
The best mem to use with this board is G.Skill 6400HZ.
The memory is currently AVAILABLE from Newegg for 149.99 for a 2X1 gig set.
Although at this point I hope many of you drop this board and get another so you can :banana::banana::banana::banana: about what you don't understand in another thread.
Try this divider with your lousy board if you have a Processor like a quad that won't let you clock real high
For those of you that can't add this is DDR 1325! on the 5:8 divider
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...killdammit.jpg
OK so the 5:8 divider pushes a little too hard for you fine go to the 2:3
Divider instead
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/slowfast.jpg
But wait you can clock the hell out of your system but, you want more than 1:1 can give well here is that it don't work worthless 5:6 divider for you
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/realtemp.jpg
you will note that with the P5E you can always keep your mem at 1200+ DDR
what ever your fsb settings are. I have also gone in tho the bios and tightened up those loose sub-timings too. It gives your mem just a little more push.
That is if your memory has it in it to do any of this, if not, pitch it!!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/IMG_0574.jpg
So for those of you who have not been convinced yet by all this crap you have found in this thread. You have the chance to tweek your system out with the right parts to be the fastest computer you have ever used!!
This is the absolute fastest most satifying system I have built to date and I have built a hell of a lot of them over the years.

you do know that 1 person has already converted their p5k into a rampage formula right?
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...179580&page=13
WZ, can you do that with a Q6600???
hi, peebi can you tell us how?
Hey WZ, how did you mange to crank a 2:3 ratio above 400mhz FSB? I though the 266Mhz Strap is a no go with such a high FSB? Is this just a matter of upping NB volts alot? I want to use a 4:5 ratio @ like 450:)
Could you tell me how much volts you needed on FSB and NB plz? And the Transaction booster settings/AI clock twister as well?
Pretty please?
No I just talk like I can................
Or do I ?
Lets have us a look at my P5E and a Q6600 hmmmmm.....
Let's try the dreaded 4:5 divider
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../4by506hot.jpg
Oooh that went pretty well...
Hey let's try 4:5 and see how that goes.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../3by406hot.jpg
Well that wasn't so bad.....
OK let give 2:3 divider a shot
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../2by306hot.jpg
One more for you just in case it is the one you really wanted to see...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...lla/sp32x4.jpg
Well there... That concludes this demonstration of dividers with a Quad core.
WZ
Damn, nice job WZ.....
What kinda cooling you got that gets 10c per core???
Thanks screwtech I have a mix of parts, I have a home made res. I use a Swiftech pump and Apogee GT Water block A Heater core from a 1977 Buick Electra Limited any late 70's GM Big block heater core. I use a 4 inch squirrel cage fan that sits outside in winter and pumps air through a 4 inch dryer hose
In summer the fans sit in fron of a room air-conditioner. The case I cut to pieces and "Welded" it together in a more logical way to stealth wire and to run cool!
I am telling you still though part of the success is the memory. I keep saying it is the G.Skill 6400hz. I have tried many many sticks of memory on this board and my P5KE-wifi.
6400HZ out performs them all including all other G.Skills.
Don't give up just yet on this board once you get it right it is a terror...
WZ
i'm trying this right now, seems really interesting
hopefully i won't screw up :D
Has anyone seen the ASUS Maximus Extreme Open Box selling for $29.99 at newegg? They where up last night for a while, and now today for the last 30min. Both times they went OOS, but I was able to order 2 before they did. They might get more in since the item hasnt been discontinued.
Open Box: ASUS MAXIMUS EXTREME LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard
So I was wondering, is there going to be an X48 variant of this board to flash the bios too? At $29.99, it is worth a shot to try!
how the hell do you guys go in msdos with XP and the bios is bigger than a frickin floppy disk
edit ok i found a workaround, if anyone is interested i'll explain
a few things i noticed with the "new" bios
hardware monitor doesn't work
vcore goes up on full load example: 1.304 idle > prime 1.312, not much of a change but still - EDIT denied by my dmm 1.308 idle/1.309 full load
vcore is not reported right in everest, cpu-z is right on tho
nb/sb temps in the bios are in the minus, so i guess it's not right :P
the extra memory tweaking is AWESOME! can't wait to play with this tomorrow
the voltage "zone" determined by colors are off and not to be used, there's some pretty crazy voltage available in this bios watch what you're doing!
sill checking stuff
Connect an USB stick formatted under FAT preloaded with the bios rom and afudos. Configure the stick as a Hard Drive under bios and boot with a Windows 98 CD or any other OS that let you read into the USB stick. Now you can access afudos and flash the bios
Report using the Rampage 0219 Bios:
-Yes hardware monitor does not work
-I can confirm that the Vdroop is minimal with this bios and does not require the pencil mod
-CrAzY voltages -> User Beware
-CrAzY Ram tweaking options -> I'm not sure if all the options work under the P5E hardware
-My E6600 was able to run a couple of Mhz faster with this bios using less voltage
-Finally my 1:1 memory divisor works with bus over 333Mhz. This allowed me to attain 520Mhz bus (This was impossible using the P5E bioses)
-The bios feels more responsive and post faster than using the PE5 bios
-No need to re-install the OS
-The second network in bios and LCD does not work of course
Hardware monitor WORKS for me! :D
AND FINALLY 4:5 DIVIDER WORKS!!!
Even if you don't stay with it, use this BIOS a little to check how it works. I'm going to try Maximus 1004 now :yepp:
M@ster, please let us know the benifits you found with going from the P5E bios to the Rampage. I'm trying to find posts about the flash on the P5E boards but am having to go through every post at the other thread.
If I could do this without any affect to my raid array and get the benifits others are getting, especially the lower(generally) volts for same clocks, I'd do it right away.
I done it a few hours ago, with my dual boot being on a raid0 set, and it was fine. Just had to re-select raid in the bios after clearing cmos.
No testing as of yet, it's to darn hot here today.
Is going to the Rampage bios as simple as flashing with a Rampage bin?
Read the thread on it, it's not very diffcult (once you have the right dos files to boot from).
So, is there a "substancial" reason for me to flash to a Maximus/Formula bios?? I'd like to get my quad stable at 3.7/3.8 with the 8gb i have in, is that even possible????
Why don 't you just stick with 3.6Ghz? You can then run the memory at it's rated speed with decent timings. A CPU clock increase of 100-200 Mhz. is not going to make any noticeable difference.
Now, if you talking about going from 3.6 to 4.0, then that might be worthwhile.
I personally would never flash a bios not designed for the motherboard model, especially if you're not going to get a superior overclock or better stability.
BTW, If anyone is having serious issues with Ram compatibility, this Ram is 100% compatible with the P5E - Now in stock: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231065
I'm very happy with a cool and 100% stable 3.6Ghz with 4GB DDR-2 800 at 4-4-4-12 timings with my E8400. For now at least.
By the way, how do you like your Physx card?

update on the rampage bios
the new everest 4.50.1330 read all the infos voltages/temps correctly, also the motherboard name is "correct" it says rampage formula
@ screwtech02
nothing substantial, but just try it if flashing a bios is not a problem for you, it takes like 10 minutes and you can go back easily
but i doubt it will affect your OC ability, at least i didn't noticed anything here
Thank's for the input Ultra, thought as much....
Intrepid, physx card is ok i guess, too bad you dont know if its ever working or not..... More of a "I've gopt one" type thing........
hey guys, worth it getting a p5e for a q9450? OR should I get a p35 board. Planning on a small oc, 3.2ghz i guess? Trying to save money, but it seems the ip35 pro has problems with 45nm chips from what I've read. Only way to run them is with beta bios and the last official bios update was in 2007-09-06. So I don't know whats best for running a q9450... I'm lost heh
This is what I found using the Rampage Bios in my cheap P5E:
- Able to run my memory with tighter timings (New: 5,4,4,12,4,30,4,4 vs Old: 5,5,5,15,5,45,5,6). Some of the other sub-memory settings were improved as well
- Able to run with 266 strap and 6 in the transaction booster. This configuration while it was done before with software using memset under windows it always crashed my system. 7 was the maximun with 333 strap
- Able to run my CPU around 90Mhz faster with lower voltages across the board maintaining the same CPU voltage used before
- The bios seems quicker, more responsive and offers much more control over your hardware
- My Raptors in RAID didn't suffer any problem, but a full reinstall of your OS is apparently recommended specially for CF environments
- Booting times to Win Vista are the same
- The big win for me is to be able to use the 266 strap over 400Mhz of Bus with the Transaction booster at 6 while using 4 sticks of memory
- This is a no brain process that can be easily reversed if it doesn't meet your expectations
I also considered the Abit IP35-Pro, which is the top rated P35 board. But this board has it's own set of problems and the P35 chipset will soon be just a memory. The P5E is designed to support all the latest 45nm CPU's and of course the Q9560 with bios 0502 or later. Go with P5E and the following memory and you won't have any problems. A proper memory marriage is important with the P5E. Don't skimp on memory - you'll be sorry.

I don't understand the differences between ram. I currently have Ballistix 5300 on my P5k and have a P5E coming in the mail...
As far as I understand it my Ballistix have the same D9 chips as the G.Skill HZ chips...why would the G.Skill be better? I mean my current ballistix do 1178 5,5,4,13 @ 2.2v so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't do the same on a P5E?
Your Ballistix 5300 may work just fine. Test it using the program below.
I'm just saying that many people had problems with their RAM, so I suggested some I knew was 100% compatible.
Note: The P5E over-volts Ram by .05 volts.
My G.Skill is rated at 2.0 - 2.1 volts. However, I run it at 1.9 volts and it's 100% reliable per MemTest+

I have a question regarding the soundcard for this motherboard.
In a few pictures I've seen, its plugged into the black PCI Express 1x Slot, does it have to go there? I'd rather have it in the lowest one, out of the way of my graphics card. Is this possible?
http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/mainb...5e/board-2.jpg
http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/mainb...upremefxii.jpg
I don't know for sure because I use a SoundBlaster Xfi.
However, the manual implies No. I've read in the forum that the black pci express slot only works with the included sound card.
Anyone?
yep IT HAVE to go there
i like it there, it's my heatpipe fan support :D
Hi,
i have asus p5e, E2160 1.8ghz
Now i'm running cpu on 3.2Ghz
Vcore - 1.44v
FSB Term. - 1.46v
North bridge - 1.51v
Other voltage is AUTO
Cpu temperature on load - 51C with ZALMAN 9700NT.
It's looks like Vcore is too big, for E2160 ( in some forums, it's running on 3.6ghz with vcore 1.44v. and sth like that )
1st question: How can i more overclock my cpu? What to change and sth like that...
2nd: is not too big temperature for 9700nt? The cooler is always cold, when i touch it, even when cpu is loaded.. Maybe thermal grease (ZM-STG1) is bad "brushed" on cpu (i don't know that word :) ), because i buy pc with this cooler, and it was on cpu, when i get it :)
sorry for my english...
thanks.
Hi all, I just got my P5E today and am having an issue with it.
Whenever I change any BIOS setting from default, my network card will randomly go into "disabled" mode. I try to enable it but it doesn't do anything and I have to reboot to make it work.
I have tried uninstalling the driver adapter (Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller), and letting windows automatically reinstall it. But I still have the same issue.
I've also tried updating the bios to 605, didn't help. Flashed it to the Rampage bios, still no-go.
Any ideas? I'm running Server 2008 32bit btw....and I was having no issues at all with my P5K-Deluxe under this OS before. I did do a complete reinstall after the mobo upgrade.
....also, my motherboard doesn't seem to be reporting the correct temperature.
Everest says 24-25c always, regardless of voltage/frequency.
hey guys, what you think of x48 mobos ? change this p5e to some asus x48 rampage, dfi or gigabyte ?
The X48 boards are just higher-binned X38 boards. You'll find very little difference between them, if you in fact find any difference at all. All they "officially" bring to the table is 1600FSB support, which the P5E does already, and MAYBE higher "official" ram speeds.
But if you already have an X38 board, there isn't any reason to get an X48 unless there is something wrong with your board.
Eller
Don't some of the X48 boards hit 600+ fsb though? I'd say that's a pretty nice difference.
Could someone give me rampage bios to p5e? And how flash it, like normal bios or not? (sory for my english)
i just flashed my P5E3 Deluxe to Maximus Extreme... now my Kingston KHX PC13000 can run high :D.. previous on P5E3 bios it sucks. lots of divider cant be used... will test later to P5E3 Premium :D
There's a thread here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179580
Basically, you just need to:
- make a bootable USB stick
- download this and unzip to usb stick http://rapidshare.com/files/10175302...229ES.zip.html
- download this (Rampage 219 BIOS) and put on USB stick http://rapidshare.de/files/38917643/RF0219.rom.html
- boot off usb stick using boot selector (f8)
- type afudos /iRF0219.rom /n
- reboot
I've had my P5E (bios 0107), for over four months now and have not had a problem, except annoyances, cpu temps higher than my cores and a 0.06 volt vdroop. My ram, Corsair 6400C4 didn't become ortho stable at 800, 4-4-4-12 until 2.06 volts, compared to my other box running 2X512s and 2X1024s Crucial Ballistix 6400C4's at 1.95 volts stock, 890+, 4-4-4-12 at 2.15 volts, so I never even thought about a possible overvolt problem.
The Corsair ram I have is not Micron chip based, got to watch my review dates. The stuff I have hates tight timings but I've had it at 1120, 5-5-5-15, 2.26 volts stable 2 passes of memtest but backed of because of the possible overvolt problem. I tried some G Skill DDR2 1000, worked as advertised but I couldn't get the settings I could with the Corsair and stable voltage was in the same area as the Corsair.
I recently stopped by the Asus site and checked cpu compatibility and discovered that the multiplier locked quad cores didn't show up till bios 0201. I find it odd that a Q6600 was not listed as compatible at initial release. This cpu was in the top ten at the Futuremark site at the time. I have an Asus P5B-Plus that I bought a few months before this board that was, without a bios update, makes me believe that they were having problems from the get go.
Anyone using the Xeon E3110, seen it at another site with bios 0601 I think, just checking, not listed at the Asus site.
I'd like to thank you all for the information in this thread, has help me a great deal.

andre X_X, P5E3 non dlx flashed to ME should work too (layouts are different though even ME and P5e3 dlx)? :) Do you see any advantages?
Have you tried asus bios recovery?
Is there any X48 bios mods available for P5E3 WS PRO?
@Kiwi: P5E3 to ME was Great, on P5E3 my KHX PC13000 sucks.. wont even do 900mhz.. after flashed to ME it can do 1000mhz easily :D....
Well, I flashed my P5E with a MF bios. The flashing went fine without an issue, but I ran into a problem with Vcore adjustment. The bios couldn't make any adjustment to Vcore at all. It stayed at default.
MF bios didn't work, but RF bios is working great. And I don't have the temperature issue like gurusan does.
Hi
Flashing my p5e from 0605 bois to The Rampage 219 bios has got me very intrested. I have had nothing but problems with my ram (see sig) it has never run near full speed. I am hoping switch to 219 might help.
Before I take the plunge I got a few questions.
1. Is it easy to flash back if there are problems?
2. Will my raid configuration and data be ok? raid 0 and raid 5 with 4 disks (see sig)
3. Will I need to reinstall vista? I would rather not have too, if I don't will it boot ok and will there be anything I will need too do?
4. As anyone with the same ram as myself done this and seen a improvement?
Thanks in advance to any help sugestions.
Well I felt like taking a huge chance tonight by flashing my P5E to the Rampage bios. It was actually a painless procedure that took about 5 min! The bios works so far without issues. I can tell you all that the chipset temps are not present, which means the sensors dont exist. But I have all the OCing features of the X48 Ramapge. I found it strange that CPU-Z and Everest both detect the board as the P5E, but the bios is detected correctly with the 0219 Rampage bios string:

I did have to disable some of the temp sensor features to keep warning messages from posting about the non-existent sensors making false readings. But the other temps like CPU and MB temps are still working correctly.
I also had no issues with setting up my pre existing RAID 0. I just did a CLR CMOS, set bios back to where it needed to be for the OC, and re enabled RAID.
Glad to hear the flash went well and that there was no problems with your raid.
Regarding your reading the board as a p5e still have you updated your version off CPZ? I believe looking at the screen grab your running an older version. Also I have read that you need to get the latest version of everest as well too.
Let us know if that helps.
I might take the plunge later if I get some more positive feedback
I ran everest v4.50.1330 and CPU-Z 1.44.1 and got the same readings. The board is recognized as the P5E with the Rampage bios.
Hey guys if you are having problems with Everest and CPU-Z not reading your board as a rampage:
- you need latest version of everest http://www.lavalys.com/downloads/everestultimate450.exe
- when flashing, you also need to make sure to include ALL the switches (i.e. "afudos /iRF0219.ROM /pbnc /n")
I have a P5E and both read correctly for me:

OK thanks for the info.
Would be intresting to know if this is the case with all p5e
just noticed this http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...179580&page=14
you see top post at the bottom there is something which relatates to changing the name what they did with there MF boards, maybe that is what is needed.
Just a thought
Well how about some of you that have done this post up a few things now like AQMK3 along with the cpuz beside it so we can checkout your cpu scores now and see how they stack up against oh let's say mine...
with my 8400 or mine with my Q6600 I haven't seen any reason from anyone yet to do this. So put up some numbers. Let's have a look at your new pi times. Give us something cuz right now I am not seeing a thing.
WZ
My mhz haven't increased using the Rampage bios, but I can achieve the same clock (3870mhz q6600) with a little less vCore and a fair amount less vNB. I have nothing worth posting that is much different to when I was on Asus p5e bios.
Another big thing for me is when I had a failed OC on 5xx to 605 bios, I would have to boot with 1 stick ddr800, then it was pot luck getting my pc8500 to boot for the next 2 days. Now since I'm on this other bios, that has happened only 1 time.
