Did you use SetFSB because you couldn't get this high by changing it in the bios?Quote:

Could you please do screen shots of all your validated cpuz tabs on the screen together. I am curious about a few things, including whether you have a C2 or C1 board. Mine is a C2 from August.
Edit.....never mind......just anomalies........he has a new beta version that doesn't work right either. It just read my FSB at 200 when it is running 288
Thanks!
You using water cooling? 27c idle is pretty good. What cooler you got if not water cooling..Quote:

Hmm, interesting, I want to know your settings in BIOS! I mean memory setings and subtimeings, it would be nice to know them all if posible :) Maybe I can get 500+ Orthos stable with my board, my problem was that with 4-4-4-12 it was not stable, but with 4-4-3-9 was, so maybe with 3-4-3-4 I can run even more stable? :stick: :DQuote:

Yes, but 3-3-3- is very different story from 3-4-3-4 when comes to 965 and 975 chipsets .My opinion is that 3-4-3-4 is no different than 4-4-3-4 and a little faster than 4-4-4-4 when set hrough memset :confused:Quote:

No. I have non troubles with cold boots. I had only cold boot problems with bios F1 and F2.Quote:

Nearly 2 months now with out a new BIOS. Surprising.
on a side note the DS3P (rev2) looks to be awesome. It has everything that was missing from the DS3. Add in all of those things and the rev 2 looks like it could be the perfect board. And will probably knock the P5B-E off from being the top OC'ing 965 mobo.
so theres no f8 bios coming out for the D9 fix??
what a difference a psu makes...wouldn't go more than 2 hours with my old psu...

You do know your temperatures are 76ºC?Quote:

My friend's 6600 runs at 3.4 ghz and hits 68-73c with a zalman heatpipe cooler. This is a SI 128; I just kicked orthos off b4 going to bed and it just kept running. Takes it a while to get that hot; I don't normally "marathon stress". What are you guys on air running?
60c is tops i would go if you run it underload a lot. C2D throttle at 85c so 70+ is pretty extreme.
What cooler is most popular? i just changed out the fan on my SI 128; the cooler itself it was seated properly and I'm running orthos now (also dropped my vcore to 1.375 from 1.4). going to comtinue to drop it till it hits the wall (early failure in Orthos).Quote:

thats a loud fan @ 97 cfm...mines rated like 70 (the one I switched to), but I have an 80 intake and an 80 exhaust right next to the cooler. What heatsink?Quote:
