i've heard of others having trouble with d9gmh on this board too. (well, one other)
i'm hoping it's just coincidence. i've got some d9gmh on their way cos i was hoping it would help me push fsb...
has anyone got d9gmh at 600+ on this board?

Im 99% certain me Ballistix are gmh and they do 600+
Well my RAM is D9's they are not MGH. I am using Kingston HyperX 1150mhz, they are GKX not to sure that is why I cannot get higher than 425 though. I am just gonna send it back to newegg and see how the next one does.
Dino are you using 333 strap? I was trying 400 for a while and it was killing me.
Weird...haven't really tested dual core much yet, but it's doing pretty well with quad. :p (540-ish benchable)

Surprisingly low-key actually. 333 strap, termination at 1.44, PLL at 1.65, northbridge at 1.64, and that's about it really, rest on auto. I boot in at 535 and setfsb up from there. More voltage than that seems to make things worse.
The problem for me is that I can't go any higher than 1.64 nb or it starts getting really unstable, and it needs every last ounce of northbridge voltage more than anything else. Gotta try the same thing on my EP45T Extreme...got a feeling it'll fare better.
what's your nb under?
i plan to get it under dice to eek out some more volts.
oh and i've taken to the habit of setting volts with et6 as well.
i know it's kindof lazy, but it seems to work...
Any new bios versions out yet?
Here my QX9650. Non Auto Settings.
First boot 500 and prime. I test voltages of lower. :up:

heres my best with my E8500(so far)http://i37.tinypic.com/2ldxkp.jpg
Wow that's really high vtt and vpll for that QX9650.
Maybe take vtt down to 1.4 or 1.42, vpll down to 1.61, and move vcore up to 1.31-1.33
Ought to do it.
i'm thinking (hoping) our mch chips are behaving clinically different.
seeing as you're seeing no gain beyond ~1.64v, and mine seems to be scaling well beyond 1.8 (the difference between 8x 540fsb valid and 8x 545 was 1.80 to 1.82vnb), I'm hoping mine will benefit from the cold and some more volts.
With this settings my System is not stable :

After start from Prime Core 1 and Core 3 shuts down .
The cpu works perfect at this vcore, i think its the northbridge .
Ok so some of your cpu voltages are too high, bring them down.
try vtt-(1.32-1.42), pll-(1.57-1.61), vcore-1.33,
VNB is your problem, so try 1.5v, you might need up to 1.56v to be totally stable, but we'll see.
I know this is kindof hard to see, but this is my Q9450 relatively stable at 4ghz

using 1.61pll, 1.42vtt, 1.33vcore (1.31 real), and 1.5vnb
VNB = CPU Termination ?
VNb = MCH core
VTT = Termination
hehe :p:
