U still have cw problem dude, look your available memory. Try 7_10 under ln2 ans 7 tcwl
ha I must have forgotten to set maxmem on that run, I was testing 600+
7_10 at TCWL 7 was not working constantly failing by sometimes by loop 4 sometimes loop 23 at full pot.

there's a Triple Point pot hidden somewhere under there:D

I tried voltage from 1.87 to 2.0v but stopped there as I was not seeing scaling, I will give PSC a try this Tuesday when I refill.
What's the humidity in your area?!
PS: Looks like your MAXMEM was set to 600MB for that run, but your available real memory is too low.
I see. It looks pretty "cool" though... :D
Were you using ERAM for this run? And which CW size were you using? Instead of using ERAM you could try using two HDDs.
nice improvement man, time to put pitweaker to rest. I get better results just single copy paste of 1.8GB file, give it a shot man. Keep pushing
Ssd make a diffrence regarding wazza versus classic hdd ;)
Thanks Splave:)
Manual waza is definitely on the top of the list as my waza is not very efficient.
I have everything ready minus the LN2 hopefully they are not closed today and I will be shooting for 17's if I can fill back up tonight. Not sure if I should give PSC a spin cold or keep trying with BBSE.
Regardless this thread is awesome sauce and I will keep pushing:D
No,you can get a faster wazza with classic hdd,ssd is not the best for wazza.
Finaly today i run mems on ln2. cpu is on air.
you have to spent quite along time for test in order to get a decent run.
i have to improve it next time.

Amazing work with the 2800 CL11's & Cold Kintaro
Kintaro i tried my good 2800 kit but best i did was 2666 c9 ss-20 with everything else tight, u got CRAZY hynix there they can do cl8 with those timings man.
I know dumo has some nice hynix to, hope he find time to try them under cold.
Got 296xx with PSC but i want fight with hynix and sammy lately.
Is that Hynix for real?
Hynix no have CB (AMD) but on IB a lot of times u get 55 code on boot when temp is lower than -100
should be some CFR
at -80000 no hynix can do like kintaro did with his kit, his kit should be very very special, i rememeber we tried at computex some nice hynix but CL8 with tight timing were IMPOSSIBLE
His kit is BFR not CFR.Too bad we can't find those good BFR anymore :(
Possibly the first batch

Neweeg's first retail batch (only 2X4GB)

So exactly after ripjawsz with bfr. Thx dumo

I did promised you to show 2860 CAS 9 on air,did i not? 1.90 V,cold air(5 degrees?) For the record i did boot at 2900 CAS 9 and run 1M,32M crashed at loop 3 =)) 2666 C10 baby :D My wazza sucks

Killer ram clocks Alex, especially at Cas 9. Dominator Platinums?
Yeap,corsair platinums.
Alex-Ro nice RAM. Should be about 6.18.2xx or lower
I know, but it's very hard to hit the wazza on ssd,the optimum moment to start is hit or miss because sometimes memory grows till 5 seconds, sometimes 3 sometimes 8,classic hard-drive should do the job ...
Very nice memories there, nice too see sams at those speed and timings on air.
After testing and binning very much memory and the spontaneous idea at stummerwinter's home to try trcd 9 with PSC chips, i got addicted again with some new ideas and evenings with testing..

Crazy score Angoholic!
Which kit(s) are you using for this run?
Crazy 8gb result, i assume twcl 6
he use 4x2GB G.Skill Trident PSC
very nice score
keep pushing :)
thx :)
:yepp: hiwa..
Awesome score Boris
nice pics and great score angoholic
Hello guys,
finally did some testing with my new board and memory kit (Corsair 2666cl10). This is w/o waza ofc, but seems to be a bit too slow. I laredy set all subs tight I think. I should be sub 6.21.xxx I guess...
(sorry for the crappy quality of the screen, I took it with the iPad :p)
Any tips? :D
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/305/ipjpg.jpg
Thanks to everyone who will try to help me :)
Thanks!
Alex
Should be under 20,don't know, maybe E0 es scores worse?
Oh,did not see,guess it's in normal range then :)
hmm, so PSC still better??? :(
No,an air very good psc comes close to very good samsungs, but the thing is psc scales with cold and you can get awesome results. However nowdays you can't find any good bbse or psc in retail,so good samsung are the only choice....
Your score is not too bad, 6min22.1 without cw translates into ~6min19.0 with CW, which is about on par with other Samsung scores in this thread. Note that all the top Samsung times are done in 4x4Gb configs, which is said to be at least 1 second faster.
If you're on air, then it's a lot easier to get a good time (sub 6min20) with Samsungs than PSC. You don't need to have super duper PSC kits to do 1300+ CL6 / CL7-tWCL7 on LN2, properly tweaked average stuff should be able to do it too.
BTW, you can no longer find good Samsungs in retail as well ;)
Here's something I've been working on last week. Also no CW and timings not minimised as the board started acting funny after this run.

That trrsr is huge, setting it 5 will shave 1 sec+....But very good trcd
Thanks a lot Sam! I just planned to try with 4 sticks, I have them. I hope that my CPU can kkep them 4x4 at 1380+ MHz .
About my score, I thought that it was slower than seems to be. Will try to improve it a little bit trying more OSes too.
SOmebody noticed that on Asrock Z77 OC Formula (or other Z77 too) the 2800 divider is slower than 2666/2600?
Thanks for the help!
Whats ur aida delex ?
TaPaKaH your result with PSC or BBSE?
this are my 24/7 settings i think its a nice SPI32 for it :) using 2x4GB TridentX 2666CL10

u may notice that vcore is high for 5GHz thats cause im using OFFSET and EXTREME LLC as games love it, if i dont use it games crash
^^Andre^^ it is nice that you are keeping these thread alive with your gSkills 2666 results. I will try to match what you have done if possible with my 2666 CL10.
Cool, give them 1.75v and LB 1 :p
Nice 24/7 settings btw xD
I got 12min with my G620 and psc lol
Here we go!
ASRock Z77 Oc Formula
Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666C10
http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/3...aphsot0022.jpg
SHould be faster with 16 GB? I think that it's still a bit slow
Yea,if you run 16GB you will gain at least 1 second :) compared to 8 gb,so you still have some time to catch...
I gain only about 0.5 switching from 8 to 16 gb...don't know where i'm doing wrong! Tried 4 OS too...
Don't know mate,my best run at 2800 9-12-12 was 18.250,at 2860 i had the same but on a different os and not a good run...
Delex, have you tested tCWL 7? I find 7 is generally quicker unless pushing extra volts then 6 sometimes surprises me... also 6 may be the reason 2800 is slower for you.
I think I remember Splave mentioning he found some OCF dividers faster than others in the 3D01 low clock thread.
That is right 100:133 strap is better at efficiency in 2001, i did not find it better in spi though....
Allen imo the fastest ever config on Ivy is Cas7 twcl 6
I can't get tWCL6 to work at 1300+MHz with any CAS on my PSC (LN2) so I run whatever I can :)
Here is mine:
http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/9504/spi32mlcc.jpg
Needs improvements though :)
Question: Is it efficient based on the timmings I used?
some nice new scores here, hopefully this thread will stay alive in 2013, too.
16 GB run, but need to optimize my waza. 0.4-0.5s better would be possible so I'm shooting for 6.17.xxx
EDIT: Forgot CPUZ mem tab - the memory clock is 1388 MHz

improved a bit with waza....but 3 seconds of boost seems to be impossible here :(

Guys, I tried all combination form 600 to 700 Mb of maxmem and form 1.4 to 3.6 Gb waza- single file and 1 mb each file...in the best cases i cut 2.4 or 2.5 seconds. Any tips?????
Thanks in advance!
Alex
Just realized i haven't uploaded an old score from October .
Ram was a pair of GTX3 . Again cascade cooled (-110C) . No matter what , it couldn't bench at 1300Mhz . I'll have to find some time to test my other kits ...
Anyway ...
Stelios - 6:18:109 - 47x106.4 - 1276MHz - 7-9-7-28-78-1 - Asus Maximus V Formula - Corsair GTX3 2X2GB PSC - 1.9v if im correct -CPU air - RAM cascade cooled

Keep trying guys some nice scores here.
Stelios why trcd at 9 ? U dont need that go 11 to have much stable setup but play with others.
Finally!! 7 binned memorykits, lot of time while testing, lot of fails.. did i forgot something? Well, here is my result with aircooled 4x2GB Trident BBSE's. :)

^awesome run man, don't think your efficiency is off, just need to tighten some secondaries and tertiaries and you should be set!
nice one
Also try to use 100:133 dividers ;) Trrsr at 4 if possible, and tighten up those secondaries, trrd 4,trfc 70,twr 8-10,trtp 4-5,tfaw 16-20,twtr 4-5,you will get a nice boost.I know you guys have problems on gigabyte mobo's,so maybe try asus, asrock oc formula plays very nice with psc ;)
Thanks Alex, just did a quick try with those settings and they really good,I was having a problem when i tighten things up too tight i was loosing efficiency but it seem it may have been to much V core, dropped V core back abit and seems ok now. Thanks for the kind words and help guys and the nice settings Alex
When i work out how to thank you alex i will ahah
No problem mate ;)
