Holy bezels batman. =/
Lol Taskforce!! So funny to see people that are jealous of an amazing setup!
I dont understand how this is "the 90's". they are not CRT's...
i know that lol
too lazy for that, in gaming I am not noticed diff colours and bezels
now I can game max on 3x2 setup or 9x1 setup
I want 5x2 but for that I will need 5870 e6 or 5970 normal + 2x5770 e5 from powercolor which isnt avaible yet, maybe next year :D
everyone can have that kind of setup (each monitor average cost is 50euro)
looking for real bargains, one monitor have one bad pixel, one little scratch, half was wihtout cables lol, and one has stain on back lol, I guess someone was painitng walls and forgot about move monitor from room)
@ Duniek
Awesome setup. Can you flip the top monitors over? So the power button is on the top edge.
Not sure why people use samsung. My cheapo sceptre 22s have a 9/16" bezel all around.

Not 100% completed!
- Need to find some new fans, thinking of getting white or blue onec, suggestions are welcome.
- Changing the fittings as well to get rid of the zip-ties.
- Moving the tank inside at some point.
mp3: imho it would be nice to make one-piece cover for all front 5.25 bays aswell. I always was hater of anti-kink spirals, but well, that's matter of taste, but if you will get rid of them too, then imho it would be interesting to replace few (not all) tubes from current black to white or blue.
My simple place
Fredz77: no offence, but my attention got not your rig but rather nice black coffee mug which nicely fits into dark brown/black theme :)
lol just lol :ROTF::rofl::up:
Your case really need to repaint, dude :(

I personally don't see the point of using a 42+" TV as a computer screen. That's just me. Pixel density isn't all that great and they seem a waste of space. However, for an HTPC, I'd be more apt to having your regular HDTV and a matching, yet smaller, LCD. That way, you can use it comfortably without having to be 8' away.
Here's a challenge; take a ruler and measure the height of your television screen. Then, take the height (in pixels) and divide it by that physical height. My 21.5" LCD is about 26.5cm tall and native resolution is 1920x1080; pixel pitch on this monitor is approximately 0.245mm; there's about 4 pixels per millimeter. I personally sit at a desk and my head is about 3' away from the LCD(s)'s. If you plan to be a distance from the screen, then yes using a TV is a very good idea. However, if you're close to it, what ends up counting is having a smaller screen with the same native resolution. As it is, if I want more screen space, I simply add another monitor. Which I've already done, by the way.
My setup looks something like this (I've since tossed the receiver and upgraded to a preamp & 160Wpc poweramp)...
http://img686.imageshack.us/img686/9419/smdscn0162.jpg
The monitor on the left is 1680x1050, the monitor on the right is 1920x1080. The loudspeakers are Polk Audio Monitor 5 Series 2's; made around 1991-92.
You guys have obviously either lost your mind or not know much about LCD tvs. I for my PC have a 23 inch but I have hdmi cable ran to an LCD tv and I would have it right in front of me for games if my girlfriend wouldn't kill me.
The few times I have played games on it. Its been awesome. So I honestly love his setup

what kind of cases are these 2
i like your chieftec also fredz77,looks good,seems like everyone has a really nice pc
I disagree, too big is when you have to move your head or even your body just to see another part of the screen... Its called diminishing return. IMO anything over 30 is too big under 3 feet away, if your 4 feet away you can go 30+
Its a Drobo, if you go to my flickr page you can see everything listed piece by piece.
Tile, I love the acrylic work on the side panel.
Moved my desk to my bedroom. However kept the PC in another room. Having a powerful system w/o the heat dump or the loud fans in the same room = bliss.

HelixPC => Awesome :eek:
Thats a sexy lil beast!
Looks sweet, but a bit overkill don't you think? :p:
@helix
really nice, but:
hows the flow near the GTXs? the front fan can handle it? passing the HDDs?
Overkill? as in 'OK'?
Hmm. OC -> OK
as in ECG -> EKG?
(electrocardiogram)
If it's not OK, is it worth doing?
