^^^^ so looks like dropping your mem divider did the trick heh :D
yeah just running linix for 10 run 25000 size than im good lol
how u save the profile?
oh i see yeah hope this is solid :P
oh okiay thanks :)
i willl do that
right now its stable which im happy at 3.8ghz :P
really.
so my setting is good?
can i do a 6-6-6-18 timing with a 6x multiplier?
http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/q...4-u/dfsdfd.jpg
I'm happy with the result, but a little worry about the temps at idle..44 degrees :S at around 70 something degree on load..
I'm 8+ hrs stable stressing using Prime 95. Will do a 1hr OCCT Linpack now, just to be doubly sure.
EDIT:
ARGH! I don't believe it... 40+ minutes into Linpack, whilst screen saver was on, Windows sorta froze. It SEEMED like it frozen, then from random keyboard bashing, it looked like it was going to return to desktop (start bar became visible) and then just hung. Not sure if it was a stability issue or just windows =.="...
EDIT2:
Okay... I tried 6x memory, 12x/13x uncore and still not getting anywhere with bclk.
Vcore was 1.4000
QPP/VTT was 1.3400
PLL was 1.88
VDIMM was 1.64
Need more help...
Getting better :) I see room temps matter A LOT. One extra fan dropped me to about 75-77C. At night I have the AC set to 76F and here is what a small drop in room temperature got me (note it was mostly 72-73 on core1).

I'm thinking of changing BIOS rev again... however, don't know which one would be best (I've used F5 and F6e on my GB EX58-UD5, so need something more stable). Maybe up Vcore above 1.4000 BIOS? Up QPP/VTT voltage as well? VDIMM is set at 1.64 in BIOS but drops to 1.616 on load.
I really dont wanna give up and admit I have a bad OC'er...
your temps are fine, these things can run up to 100ºc. Just try to stay under 90ºc. Glad the settings worked out :)
yes they do a lot. Also I switched my fans from pull to push and my temps dropped to down like 4-5ºc across all cores. Maybe you wanna expirement???
