1.225 is what mine uses for 4.05. Its almost stable at 1.2v and that actually may be work with lower temps.

vcore syndrome, also try higher vtt ... 124 in BSOD are vcore, 8E are mem = VTT
IRQ are also vcore for the most.
I think I got a dud somehow. I dont know if its the MOBO or the CPU, but I cant seem to get it going.
Im stuck at 180-181x20 with RAM @ 1080 7-7-7-19.
185x20 = BSOD after 5mins of prime.
(1.35v, 1.36vQpi, RAM 6x, QPI 36X, Uncore Auto/18X)
I have tried 200x17, 200x18 and 200x19 ... no go. Higher vCore, vQPI, PLLīs, ICH, IHO etc. doesnīt help a bit.
My temps are strangely low, even tho im running the stock Intel cooler. 3600Mhz 1.3v and prime load is only 65c.
Very low leakage CPU = very bad overclocker?
Anything I should know about the EX58-UD3R? Some kinks perhaps?
Ci7 920 (3841A712, SLBCH)
Gigabyte EX58-UD3R
OCZ Platinum 1600Mhz 7-7-7-16 - 1.65v
I have tried 1.500, 1.560, 1.6 and 1.660 Vdimm, and I have tried Uncore 16x.
ATM im running 180x20, Turbo enable, QPI 44x Uncore 18x, RAM 8x @ 7-7-7-19 @ 1.64v... rather strange considering QPI 38x wouldnīt even load Windows.
I was a bit surprised when it actually loaded windows and could complete a few benches.
If the 38x divider is somehow faulty my hopes for 4+Ghz are gone. QPI of 4400+Mhz is probably not going to happen.
Im about to run some prime now.
Hi there i got mine @ 3800 but im trying to go for 20x200 and so far is a no go, i tried ging it 1.38v for the cpu but wont even load windows, just stays black screen, what settings should i go for here? you guys can see what i got in my rig, memories, board and the batch :) im using F5G for the bios.
Thanks :)
AFAIK, Uncore multiplier should be twice as much as the memory multiplier; if RAM is 8x, then Uncore is 16x.
You mean instability above 4Ghz, right?
Since im only running 180 BCLK (44x) QPI is not yet over 4000Mhz, only 3960Mhz.
I can run 180 BCLK with QPI multi @ x36, but only with 6x RAM divider. Anything above 180 BCLK is no go, no matter what voltages or dividers I use.
right now its at 3200mhz if it 16x bclk at 200 x 19
but not stable with ht on :(
right now my voltage looks like this
vcore 1.3v
qpi/dram: 1.35v
dram: 1.66v
mul: 19x
bclk: 200
dram freq: 1603mhz DDR3
uncore frq: 3204mhz
qpi link speed: 7200MT/s (3.6GHz)
ht: off
stable only at this setting...
how can i get it stable with ht on?
and i don't have to change the uncore setting?
so pretty much change it to 20 x 190 and leave all the voltage but maybe change the dram voltage?
dang it :(
not stable...got the BSOD :(
