Nicely done andressergio, I got my hands on one a couple of months ago and although it's not the quietest one I've owned, it's definitely the best. Gotta love the packaging too, very nicely presented. I also experienced higher volts on the 5v and 12v than on my old Jeantech which was always silghtly under spec, but never caused any major issues. I can confirm that my DMM gave no fluctuations whilst I loaded the CPU and GPU, and reported a constant 12.15v for me, even during reboot, same goes for the 5v rail.
I bought it more for the reassurance as my old PSU had definitely had a good innings and was having problems which turned out to be the mobo (which is now RMAed and going good).
Sorry for ranting in off topic there!
Like you, I'll have my hands on a Q9650 by the end of this week, seems like stock might be starting to thin out a bit over here.
Seems like Corsair HX850 put some power on the system look at the shaders !! could do this before on my TT850 :D
Q9650 @4500/1200
gtx285 @ 800/1872/3024

Very nice clocks there. Perhaps you can lower your vcore a little now also since it made such a difference to the shaders. Whats up with Sanctuary hardware section stating your Q9650 has HTT?
All these screenies are driving me nuts... I'm now being told that 9650's are discontinued, and stockists can't get their hand on any more! I'm gonna be majorly gutted if I miss out on one, and rather fruious, as I've now been to 2 sites who supposedly have them 'in stock', only to discover they dont, and can't get any more.
Can anyone confirm this? (In the UK at least)
I had same experience with my PSU.
The shaders and GPU core were both stable at higher clocks.
Congrats Sergio
Yeah, OC Nub, Nkresho, The Viper, Davit and myself (anyone else I missed?) all have L847C's and they all perform very well. Go to some brick and mortar stores and have a look through their stock if you can.
sergio.. maybe time for 1kwatt/1.2kwatt @ v12.4 full load psu ?? :D
Me. :yepp: Sold one (Poor VID) and kept other two.
Working with them both as and when i can spare the time, will most likely ask for some advice from those of you with DQ6's at somepoint I'm sure. Also purchased one UD3R, which was soon RMA'd thanks to one dudd memory slot , will source another when i locate stock for decent price. Results will be shared once i sort out my oh so wonderfull concave TRUE. :shakes:
Have you tried the place with the barcode reader name? ;) Most others as you say have no stock with no eta. :(
I got a reply at the end of yesterday that my order was ready to ship, so I'm now waiting with baited breath for it!
It'll be a little while before I get it up and running though as I've got a new rad, sensors and fans to fit, and I plan to flush the system too due to coolant problems. I might bung the 9650 in there for a quick run though, and just check that the ram is OK :)
Sounds good In-Fluence, should come together nicely.
Haha, I reckon it was all a ploy - they've sent me so many contradicting messages it's unreal. The order hasn't budged from their warehouse and it'll be 2 weeks tomorrow that I've been waiting.... I'm getting really peeved considering they supposedly had it all in stock the day they took payment from me..grrrr!
i finally got a low vid chip:)
its a L836B361 vid 1.18v.
should have it by thursday or friday.
after i mess around with and see what
it can do,ill decide on whether ill keep
my LGA775 or LGA1366 setup.one will have
to go.cant afford to keep em both.so while
im waiting im going to fire up the i7920/UD5
again and see if it will grow on me(impress me)
enough to tempt me to keep it.right now with
UD3P and E8400 its fun but after playing with
quad cores and quad cores with 8 threads, duals
just seem weak in comparison.i mean even looking
at a cpuz screen and only seeing two temps its
starnge.it might all be in my head too:rofl:
thanks andressergio.thats what im hoping too.
i would like to be able to get 4.9GHz since i have
my WCing setup with the AC running, temps should be good
I got a new water block, HK 3.0, the other day so I figured I would do some priming to test it out. I was hoping to squeeze another degree or two out of my setup but so far its not looking to be any better than my GTZ. :(
21C ambient with HK3.0

Congrats on finding a good chip, should perform well hopefully. You should be able to get 4.4 - 4.5 GHz stable on your i7 with your cpu too though. It's a hard call.
I feel the same way you do about i7 it seems. I haven't noticed anyone else mention it making them feel somewhat underwhelmed, I was thinking it must have just been me.
I'm torn between my LGA775 and LGA1366 systems too, can't decide.
Regardless of whether or not it's better than before, those temps are great.
