Good luck with your new chips!
And please submit your batch info to Massman's SB Batch and Serial Numbers thread at the HWBot forum. :)
Edit: Heh Linuxfan, I see you did that already! ^^
I have the new 2600k under the megahalems on the P8P67, had time to update to the latest bios then had to come to work.
Using the mouse in an unfamilier bios - will take a little time - if I get stuck I'll either post for help or go back to the ud5.
Ud5 was running fine by the way.
I have high expectations - this is the same batch as flesheatinvirus -

Got the same L042B208 chip .. mounting it on a EVO ASUS .. will see how this goes ;)
It's a great batch..
Splave, don't forget to post up your 32M score for the comp!!! I just got mine up today and got 12m 16s because I couldn't get my Bclk high. Anyway the way the scores are now we have a chance at third and the best guy of our three(you or Honda) can win some prizes....
You have like 6hrs to submit till its over so keep that in mind! ;)
My 2nd chip was tested today and maxed out at 5.2ghz. Didn't like Bclk either.
Time to try another....
Steve, nice work 112K '01 with your 5870... :D
I got a 109K with my GTX 570 and 5.188ghz chip...
Only 1 more submission for the US to be in stage 4 and 5 rankings!
still trying for 54 multi but its not looking good for this chip - 2600K - L042B208
i can bench 01 at 53 with this chip but must go higher!
has anyone tried using turbo boost - setting everything to 54?
Hey guys, did you have the "File .../results.txt is too big!" error when trying to display run details in 3dm01?
Are you using an Asus P67 board?
Click ORB submission, then click the detail button, it's a known issue.

Try new BIOS in Asus board maybe get another multi running or Bclk?
ok add that to the list.
1st on the list - probably not until tomorrow -
1. Aquamark with 5870 (hopefully 1000/1300 or better) and SB at 5.3+
Should be 400K+ score, a new PR for me. :)
then -
2. Go after the 4core pcm05 WR with SB at 5.3. :D
At 5.2 I was only ~400 points short! (Areca 1880 4GB, 13xR0 Acard9010)
I have verified that I can run pcm05 at 5.3/ud5 but no bclock.
Not sure which is the fastest array yet: 13xR0 was optimum for 1366.
15x might be best for SB's higher clock and efficiency?

New BIOS for Asus P8P67 Pro let me go 2 multis higher on a 2600k D2 ES. Definitely recommended so far, further testing tomorrow.
I want to play.

Just to clarify: I could boot at x51 and x53 all the same on old and new BIOS, the difference is in stability: x53 is now stable on the same settings. This improvement may have nothing to do with "no post at high multi" problem.

Congrats SteveRo for setting a new 4core PCMark 05 WR!

-17c tonight, F3 stepping CCB8F AMD Athlon X2 5600+ and a corsair h70 waiting...
Are the newer SB CPUs still getting higher clocks or are people getting 5.6ghz+ still using old batches? Have another new one coming in.
my 2500K is L041B and capped at 5........not sure if thats newer but.
