If the power plugs were at normal place, there will be some problem with the blower fan, no ?
i think it looks quite dumb with the connectors there
and were only talking about 1/2", so i think they should have just moved the fan inward and shrink the heatsink by that 1/2" if needed

Hopefully the smaller pcb and layout didn't result in to many sacrifices.
About :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing time they cut off that mostly unused PCB space. I wonder about the cost savings. The VRM section is next to the HDMI, DVI, etc. ports, like in the HD7870.
I love what NV is doing this generation. Their chips are still inferior to ATI's efficiency wise, but a lot closer than in the past, and the rest is just perfect.
