Definetly, stealth couldn't even boot iirc at stock speeds under ~-45C.. needed to use 1.6vQuote:

also I have found a site selling opterons with a stepping code 'CCB1E 0605 XPMW' http://www.trend4pc.de/ is the site, does anyone know how these do?
I think you should add a "stable" checkbox to that sheet ;)
Good work though
Poor 165:

1.808v on CPU-Z for a 32M!
@ Finlay, CCB1E almost always means good
@ mursaat
He says it's an error :slapass: /me :DQuote:
Initial OC Results done using another processor with similar stepping on water-cooling :
Default Vcore: 1.39V (cpu-z cannot detect sapphire "grouper" mobo vcore readings properly)
Default Vdimm: 2.75V (PDP XBLK TCCD DDR400 512MBx2)
Using 166 divider.
Ambient temp: 32 degrees/celsius
Idle temp: 37 degrees/celsius
Full Load temp: 43 degrees/celsius
1.4v still isnt impressive for a mere super pi run @ 2.6ghz, it doesnt even mean its stable.
just picked up Gorod's CCB1E 0609FPAW so im excited.
i only see a few results when i search for this stepping and most are on water cooling. Gorod says he got this to 3 GHz on water too.
i was wondering what the results were for air cooling. i have the BT and should be getting my stronger Silverstone fans on thursday.
3ghz should still be reachable with decent ambients
itznfb wants the other 0608MPMW on ebay doesnt he? :D
i tried priming 2.8 @ 1.5v and core 0 would fail. then again, i JUST put this thing in so maybe when AS5 cures it will make a little difference with my new fans.
What are temps? Curing wont do much.
im priming 2.7 @ 1.425 with load temps of ~50c. i know curing wont do much, but every degree counts :)
Wow, after 50C you're hitting temp limitations, no woner 1.5v only gets you 2.775ghz.
yup. Gorod told me to keep this thing under 50c for best results. hopefully the Silverstones will make a difference.
Well, for BEST results stay under 45 ;)
I get 39C at 1.55v on my H20, 44C on a hot day.
well in THAT case, for GREATEST results i should stay under 40c :wasntme:
heh. jk. lowered volts to stock and priming 2.7 now. load temps are around 45c now.
bah..failed. 2.7 @ 1.4v now around 50c again. :(
Well, 2.7 @ 1.4 isnt awful.
CCB1Es can either scale well or hit a complete wall. If you can't do 2.8 with 1.5v, then (at the risk of sounding pessimtistic) i doubt it'll do over 2.9 at all. A few degrees don't matter at 2.8x Ghz so much as at 3 + Ghz. Not all CCB1Es are good for 3 Ghz.Quote:

Nice work itznfb!
CompGeek have you thought about putting /\ that in the first post?
