Athlon XP-M 2400+ 35Watt

Got that program to... Aint realy 100% just try 5*100 mhz Thoroughbred, 200+? I think it becomes a bit optimistic to with higher speeds.
But the closest you can get to 200*13 cpu when getting a barton cpu is the 3200+ right?
(3200/2200)*2600=3782 That gets you as close to the pr rating one could calculate, if AMD was to change the rating due to the high clockspeed no one knows, probably will not be any barton with 2600mhz stock.
Pretty easy example when using 200fsb, but otherwise its way worse.

Yeah, come to think of it, it's a strange system of ratings ... my tbred @ 2500MHz = 3200+ it says :(

I think its pretty good in the right range (say about 1500-2500mhz). I dont know how good it is but cool that it can calculate the rating with not just clockspeed but with fsb to. Much hassel if you want to know what your 236*11 cpu is worth in rating (have to take it with a grain of salt tho) without this program. i think there are no easy formula to calculate all ratings good, so one cannot say its the programs fault. There should be a standard set for the rating on pages like this, with a good cpu to start from like the 3000+ with 200fsb.
Like 200-205FSB = 1.45 multiplier in rating.
205-210FSB = 1.47 multiplier in rating.

Where the multiplier is calculated with the mhz.

Thats incorrect though, 2400*3/2 + 400 = a 4000+

But it's a 3800+ (S939) or a 3700+ (S754)

Okay, bit of an update for y'all.

Currently Prime95 large FFTing in at 200x12.5=2.5GHz w/ 1.8Vcore - only been priming for 20 minutes or so but I primed for a few hours at 2.43GHz w/ 1.7Vcore so this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

my chip is the 35w 2400 mobile running @ 12X210= 2500MHz @1.85 vc. stepping is:
AXMD2400F JQ4C
IQYHA 0402SPMW

My third order of newegg's 35W 2400+ yielded an IQYHA 0402SPMW. It came in yesterday ( 6-10-2004 ) All 4 previous chips were AQYHA. The only one I have in a machine, other than one in a machine that needs a replacement NB fan ( so i'm keeping it at 2 GHz til I replace ) is doing 2689 MHz ( 215 x 12.5 ). Have it in an older 8RDA+. Have rev 2.2 XMSPC3200 in that machine, and it balks at going 1 higher in FSB. Gonna replace with some Mushkin Black Lvl II PC3500, and see if I can nudge her higher. i can't say if it is the RAM or the chip that is holding me back from 2700 MHz.

Unfortnately my CPU failed the 2.5GHz test even at 1.9Vcore, which was pretty disappointing.

Seems like you hit the AXP voltage wall...anymore just won't yield more MHz unless you put it under xtreme cooling like phase-change. 35W Mobiles are very consistent and yield 2.3-2.6GHz on air cooling. With good 1/2" ID water system you might get 2.7-2.8GHz but it would take a uber phase-change system to get 3.0-3.1GHz. I'd say a 45W Mobile 2600+ would perform better on average.

Ive tested a 35w 2400+ mobile on my nf7-s system. The 2400+ hit onlya 2.58, while my mobile 2600+ will hit 2.68. now i need to get a hold of the xp-m 2800's

The AXP-M 2800's run at 1.65 stock Vcore and are only 72W DTR's...
