@tiborrr,
I am thinking of my AMD stock HSF for vid card cooler as well, and got wonder how you managed to sit it on the vid card. Can you give some more pictures and hopefully get some instruction?
Thank you,

That HS on the graphics card looks wayyyy to heavy.
Are you sure it's safe? I would add some kinda support or something.

My new HR-01 arrived today :D. I've sent my Ultra-120 eXtreme back to the shop, because it was too convex.

Tomorrow it will be mount on my new DFI 680i LT Board :D
/\ you must hate Thermalright :ROTF:
I put my old system back together, ready to donate it to a friend. Too bad I had lost the clip for my cpu heatsink but I just fastened it with screws right through the cooler instead, same thing with the video card.
The cpu & gpu cooler make excellent contact :D

IMO, why can't you put your X1900 (?) in the second PCI-E slot? This would allow for the 'reverse' mounting of the HR-03, thus improving temps (since heat rises). It would also provide airflow to the DFI NB cooler. Just my .02
Brendan
I don't like the reverse mounting, because then there is no airflow for the RAMs and the PWMs. The temps are very good at the VGA and the NB so there's no need to change anything ;)
Hehe, thanks :)
Unfortunatly a HR-05 doesn't fit on this board :(. The same problem with the HR-09, but I hope that Thermalright will release the version for the DFI and ABIT boards soon :)

Tommy, does that HR-01's Fan Duct actually help anything ?
I don't have the fan duct, so I cant tell you if it helps
how much did the S1 VRM heatsink help with temps?
maybe the last pictures of my opteron-system. :(

@LuckyNV: With the stock heatsink I had 100° and massiv graphic failures. Now I only have about 80-90° without an airflow :D:D:D
BTW, I had to cut a litte corrie to mount my HR-07 on my DFI 680i, because the condis are too close to the slots :(. But I think I've done it well :D

is the chipsetfan not actually needlessly?
You meen if i need the fan over the NB?
Yes i do. If i dont have any fan over the NB it will get very hot (hot in sense that i cant hold my finger on the cooler more than 5sec) and im only running 1,25v on the NB. Then again i run high FSB (460), so maybe thats have something to do that the NB getting hot. But i will get Noctua NC-U6 or Thermalright HR-05 soon.
SeLecT lawl at the monkey
Yeh that Monkey made me lol
@Datanusse: Fanless cpu cooler but bodged on nb fan?
Antec P182 fits triple rad in top? :)
at least seems yes
yes with mods, looking at this 120mm top fan, seems that is possible to put a triple rad inside, but i dont know what im talking...im just imagining :D
Select, I love the look of the Monkey :D
Beutiful rig...

Hello all~
After upgrading my main rig (pictures are coming), I decide clean up 2nd rig. Check the SIG for specs.
Main case is Aluminium which was a lot easier to cut, but this antec metal case took me 2 days for cutting..
Followings are what I've done so far:
(1) replaced the one of 3.5" holder @ the bottom for HDD holder.
(2) replaced side panel.
(3) re-route the wires.
(4) both front and rear fans (2 of 80mm) were replaced for 120mm (Yate Roon).
Hope you enjoy the pics and C&C please~

Here is my main rig. Check the SIG for specs.
It's been updated from post # 5432, if anyone got curious. It's Aluminium case has been survived for many years, and I finally started cutting some off~
Followings are what I've done so far:
(1) installed HDD holder. ("iCage")
(2) installed front panel which is covering gap from (1).
(3) re-route the wires.
(4) front fans (2 of 80mm) were replaced for 120mm (Yate Roon).
Hope you enjoy the pics and C&C please~

These coolers are the "Xilence VGA Ram Cooler/heatsinks"
http://www.xilence-power.com/
Anyone know where I can find these (or something similar.. back colored and cool looking) in the States?
(sorry if I seem like such a n00b.. I've been on H2O cooling for quite a while... ;) )
I know about all those copper colored ramsinks and such, but they don't look as cool as those black frayed ones.
Try here this store has a vast amount of hardware at great prices , they are in Miami.

Good luck ;)
Nice and clean shots
thank you. :)
DeepSilver,
I'm curious as to where you keep getting all this different hardware to take pictures of?
Old skool 939---I like that
Here's my setup that is soon to be Zalman cooled and have dual 8800GTX's
Setup

Wow that's a crazy setup, but why the opty's over a qx6700? Also what case is that?
I got the Opterons on craigs for 4 hundred for the pair , the box is a HP oem box .
Everything was purchased on craigs except for the ram , and the power supply .
I got some great deals usually from tweakers who need to sell there junk asap .LOL
Is that US$400? That's a very nice price. I'm from Australia so I have no idea what Craig's is sorry (link?).
So do you plan on upgrading to a stacker 810 or something? Maybe an Antec P182?
a stacker would be nice and its craigslist.org
