Can we get some higher resolution pictures of the front of Rev 2.0? In particular how the baffles and the reservoir area?

Rev. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and now 2.0. You're killing me Koolance. I have a brand new v1.3 sitting on my desk and now I see the v2.0. :shakes:
Will VL4N threaded males fit in P1 OUT and P2 IN without angled adapters?

Damn Koolance!!! I love the REV 2. It looks much much better than my Rev 1.3!!!! Damn now I have to get one of these REV 2 and swap it out...
The rev 2.0 looks promising. Too bad I bought my 1.3 already.
Koolance must have saved quite a bit on the material cost with this new revision, too.

Maybe, the inlet/outlets are in the bottoms of both reservoirs (like RP-401X2). Some customers have had better luck with RP-401X2 versus RP-402X2 despite the smaller size.
They are the same design as our RP-401X2. Martin has some good shots of those. They're not exactly the same piece since the RP-452X2 Rev.2.0 are a little taller (because we have more room inside).

Diameter-wise, yes. But VL4N is G 3/8 BSP threaded, and the RP-452X2 is G 1/4. You would need some thread adapters.
This version is still cut from a larger piece of acetal. Now there's also the extra stainless plates on the bottom, and we're including the serial 180-degree pipe kit with Rev.2.0.

I received revision 2.0 today. I'm going to be installing it tomorrow. I'll report back about bleeding, but looking at the design alone, it should perform much much better.
I just replaced 2x RP452x2 into my loop (old was a dual D5 top + tube res), wanted to experiment for a day, ended up taking me 2.5 days but that's another story..
My simplest solution for the bleeding problem is use the "u" connector on the upper P2 in / P1 out port, bleed kit on the right reservoir, and remove the baffle from the left reservoir entirely... using VL3N quick disconnects on the back, Thing bleed in less than 30 minutes with no tilting what so ever.. below is a snap shot of how it's setup..

I think its fine as long as the Koolance reservoir is filled up. Any pump orientation is fine as long as it doesn't run dry.

The 401X2 for DDC's (PDF for DDC says the same thing about orientation as the D5 PDF) has the same arrangement as the 452X2 V2, I'm not crazy about the arrangement of these res's but, haven't had any pump issues yet with my 401X2 (but it's still very early ;) ).
im currently upgrading my pc, just wonder if should go for this and sell on my v1.3 one for one thing changing pump speeds would much easier and quicker for with v2.0
Laing's literature mentions to avoid upside-down pumps, but we've been doing this for 6 years (PC4, RP-1000, ERM-3K4U5, RP-980/1005/985/401X2). I think it's to help avoid cavitation because they're not self-priming. I would guess that friction on the ceramic impeller bearing is actually less when inverted. Regardless of the reasoning, we've never had an issue running pumps this way as long as they're burped when filling.

Koolance - The reason to mount the pumps in the orientations shown by Laing if because the force (cross product from the right hand rule) generated by the magnetic field needs to either oppose gravity or be perpendicular to it. To turn the pump upside down means that small gaps will occasionally occur and your head pressure will decrease. In the end, you will have excess heat build up on the coils and circuit board possibly, and impeller scaring on the delrin base. Koolance, I dont know your real name, but isnt it about time Koolance the company, let a professional engineer with a university degree who knows something about EM fields and the wave equation design Revision 3.0 ?
Vapor - As Koolance is selling perhaps ten to thirty thousand of these 452X2 units across the globe, the feedback across the board is mediocre to poor performance when pumps are used in a serial setup and terrible performance when two separate loops are used due to poor engineering and bleed problems. This is revision 4 and counting. You slammed me for using harsh words to criticize the first few revisions of this product, but I believe my criticisms are still being held up as valid. The language may have been a bit much but the main points were pretty valid. If you were one of the many readers of XS Liquid Cooling who spent your hard earned $129 to listen to cavitation for weeks on end, you might consider some of the unhappy campers. Not everyone has a $2000 water cooling budget with which to experiment on poor revisions of this reservoir time and time again.
You're absolutely fecking kidding me?! I just bought the 1.3 and all the extras to make serial links work a long with barbs so I could hook it up in my buidl and then this comes out!?

Basically everything in my new monster build is koolance and I chose koolance because it was the best solution to fit my needs... not they make the design I actually needed in the first place after I've waited months for stock to arrive and spent hundreds of GBP on your gear. When the stuff finally arrives there's already another bloody revision!?
It's no wonder Koolance don't do sponsored builds because the stock would be 5 revisions out of date by the time the stuff arrived and the build was complete! Not a happy bunny...
