Fantastic! :D
Should I update your existing entry in the OP, or would you like me to add one more?

zsams: Nice LinX runs, very hard to do with air cooling.:up:
I still cannot figure out what LinX does or what is the absolute correct test but I hope this is close enough........... Be gentle;).

newhit very nice cpu there. And nice temps also. But isnt 50gflops a little low for 4,6Ghz? I get 57+ at 4,4.
Very low, that is what I was thinking.
Started it up, been Folding ExtraLarge WU's for a few days so shouldn't have any issues passing LinX. I'll post when it finishes (if I remember to do it today :p:)

Apologies, but I wouldn't know what a high value is or what the problem is or if there is one. I just pressed the required buttons and waited. If there is another test required just let me know.
These are my settings. Maybe the answer is there (low bclk?, QPI?)

GFlops is very sensitive to memory timings. That looks about right for 8-9-8 or slower @ 1600mhz (or maybe 11/12 @ 2000mhz). I'm guessing you have some auto memory timings :). Check the memory tab on cpuz (or download cpu tweaker for more detailed readings) to see what your timings are at. Linx is much like SuperPi in terms of tweaking memory - higher memory performance can overcome cpu speed in terms of GFlops.
Can we post i3's here? I only ask as its a bit easy to get 4.5ghz on them - wonder if we need a 5ghz club for 32nm? Seen a fair few 6xx series at 5ghz even on air. A good 5xx series seems to top out at about 4.7-4.8ghz. Mine struggles past 4.5 and needs loads of voltage - guess that makes it about average?
Any chance we can get the i7 list divided into 'HT on' and 'HT off' groups, since there is a significant difference in the difficulty of one vs the other?
Here's my submission.
Ci7 920 | HT On | 1.320v | 1.290 Vtt | Watercooled
Running 20th loop:

Verry nice CPU :O i wan't one of those :P
I don't think there is much point, is there? Would be splitting the list in waaay too many small parts... I'd have to do the same for Gulftown, i3, etc...
I could also add whether HT is on or off to each submission (in bold) as an option.
What do you guys think? Shall I bother doing either?
CryptiK,thats an awesome OC using such low vcore.
man i wish i had a chip like that to play with:D
Thanks.
I didn't mean physically divide the list, just noting whether HT was on or off would be fine. I just think it's relevant since it's harder to have HT on. Thanks for your efforts with this club so far
Thanks mate, it's still going strong.
your getting some impressive clocks with it.what board are you using?
Sorry to post here in this prestigious thread without screen shots but I’m just curious if people in here have LLC enabled or disabled?
I’m currently at 4ghz, 920 d0, R2E,6gb 3x2 Corsair Dominator 1600.
Bios:
Vcore – 1.275 (1.31 load)
VTT – 1.275
LLC - enabled
Got custom water cooling with a Heatkiller copper (nickel-plated), tfc quad rad and 4870x2 in loop.
Temps at 4ghz under Linx, 67 66 66 62
I just want to know whether it’s better with LLC on or off
How far can I safely push the volts for 24/7? I always thought it was 1.35 for vcore but some of you go way passed that, lol!
I’d love to join this club!
Thanks,
RoEy
Certainly not the right thread to ask something like this. Better try at R2E thread. But your temps seems a little high for 4Ghz with 1.3v.
So no one can get the i5 750 stable huh??
