PLX chip at fault here, IMHO, for blackscreen. It's like it switched which card is set to "master"(maybe driver bug, dunno). Blackscreen "bug" also happens with 3870x2, with certain drivers, when CFX was first supported, but now is gone, so this problem is most likely down to how driver handles PLX chip.

KINC's 155000 with the QUAD at 5600MHz and VGAs at 877/1070........
I did the EXACT SAME thing MANY RUNS with the EXACT SAME SETTINGS and I always was getting ~ 145000 thus ~10000 lower..... :(

Strange is that I've played EVEN HIGH FSB but I gained a few out of 400MHz fsb......I played 400 x 14 = 5600MHz and 487 x 11.5.... A few points gain BUT I miss ~ 10000 marks...... :(
Yeah...now you should see exactly where I was coming from. ;) FSB basically does jack in 03 anyways.
But Kinc's run is real...yours is the one that's too low. This is the same issue I was having...now I can easily get mid 150k at 5.6, every time.

I think it's a Windows build issue, and might have something to do with update packs. It is definitely software related. As soon as I installed SP1, my scores are perfectly in line with spl's, Kinc's, and joe_cool's. Almost identical really at similar clocks.
I was almost thinking of making a video showing a complete install of Vista, and the resulting score, and then the installation of SP1, and the score after that, LOL.

That could be the case George, I'm using 64bit
In my case difference between 64 an 32 bits is about 200points(if its no bugged run)

How about this? No black screen, no nothing suspect.
Vista Ultimate 32b sp1, without intel inf ( i got BSOD when i tried to install it ).
I run 2 times 2k3 , and every time i got ~similar results..
WTF?......GT3 higher that GT4?........and ONLY 3GHz?....... :(

I dont think it has anything to do with the way you install the os as at first single card I had no prob with 03 or overall single card scaling with winxp or vista, but now I cant get a good run to save mylife :mad:
m3kk's gt2/3 are like what Im getting at 5ghz+ when before I was getting 900/725+ gt2/3 and I have done everything the same as before via drivers and instlal method :rofl:
Yeah...this is all very very strange. I wish I knew the answer. Still, I don't get why SP1 ALWAYS gives me a ~5000 pt boost but it doesn't for anyone else? :confused:
I'm using 32 bit Vista. 64 seems the same to me. (It seemed a little slower in 06 so I stopped using it)
