I finally found out that two of my crunchers were under performing due to some resource hogging programs. So hopefully it'll put me back to almost 20k ppd. Now dont you guys go buying too many i7s or my Q6600s will be really upset!:p:

Actually, my pie days are numbered. I see how what people are pulling with the i7's and Gainey's...these Clovers and Harpers just can't compete in the long run.

Yes, I do not have any Harpers capable of eating neighborhood children like you do. :ROTF:

I do have some dual gaineys...just can't move them over to WCG yet. In time though.

These boards will not run anything other than stock. Think corporate infrastructure and a supplier with a 4 character name comprised of 3 different letters. I asked for a quad socket eval unit and the sent me 2 dual sockets instead.

I have another 70 or so days with these units before having the send them back. I want to load up some ESX VM's running WCG, but Oracle testing has to complete first. :(

I've used nearly every brand of servers, they all have their pros and cons. Company dictates which brand I get to work with, I am really starting to like their smart array product line. Nice for those places you don't need a full SAN but want some of the benefits. So I don't really get to complain. However, I won't ever work with EMC units again. If you can ever avoid EMC, do it...go with Network Appliance instead. Better products, better service/support and better price. :up:

Yeah they do that.. run hot, I mean. You are looking at 4:05 HCC completion at 3,8Ghz by the way, 3:55 at 4Ghz, 3:40 for my 920 running 4,3Ghz. Rule of thumb is 5 minutes faster per 100 mhz cpu clock increase :up:
