Let see some shots of your 5GHz + running SuperPi 1M
It's been quite a while since I felt I had anything worth reporting in here since I gave up reviewing and Freon. Sandy Bridge has changed all that.

That's using the following
2600K
Asus P8P67 Pro 1053 Bios
4GB of OCZ 1600 6,8,6,24 1T Ram at 1.425v
H50 Cooler with standard quiet fan - so no better than air really.
P67A-UD3P F6a beta bios@2600K Batch #L040B225 @5Ghz@vcore 1.45v bios@Intel stock cooler@8gb Kingston HyperX Cl 9-9-9-24

:) my first touch with sandy bridge and cheap motherboard :D
max multiplier in bios X58 :D right now thats should do nice numbers with cold like dry ice / Ln2
need better air cooler now !
I think this should be moved to the Intel hardware section...
I really don't think aircooled and watercooled CPU's belong in the Xtreme Overclocking part of the forums. Not having a go at you or anything but I personally don't find anything too extreme about the results.
I agree - 5 GHZ is not as special as people might think anymore ;) SandyBridge opened a new chapter in clockspeeds.
Here is one very quick 1m on air:

Flopper
This is weird  at same speed at 5ghz u got superpi 1M at 07.554 and
my speed is same at 5ghz and i got faster superpi 1M than u ? mine 07.488 sec !
Here is my L040B208 on water.:D
 u are the first person over 5,6Ghz with Sandy thats for sure !! OMG nice done dude.. max speed on air then ?
Here mine with SS on Gigabyte ud4

but that's not your sandybridge :p:
I think you mean that one  Damn nice chip you got there
2600k
Here is mine @ 5.288Ghz. I'm not game to take it any further. It should be 5.3Ghz, but hte BCLK is at 99.8 :(.

Thanks a lot Glenboy. 5300mhz needs 1.475v bios totally stable and 5600mhz needs 1.55v. These chips are incredible for the money.
yeh you always get good results mate:yepp: you had a good e8600 like mine a while back , my sandy build is 75% complete hopefully will be up and running this evening, first real upgrade for me for a while , i have a waterloop just on cpu only so should handle any heat no worries, is 56 or 57 the max multiplier available without resorting to the bclock,
Here's one at 5088MHz and a WCG bench at 5038MHz( much tougher than SP1M..:D
58 would be the max without any bclk. Water cooling is awesome for these chips and allows for a dead quiet system as they run very cool.:D Yes I certainly remember that E8600 back in the day. I broke 5G with that chip too which was a lot of fun. That was a killer bench chip.
heres a couple at 5ghz
Very nice OC Nub. What batch on this chip?
