Just received my EK GTX 480 full cover water block straight from Slovenia! It was a troubled journey from the other side of Europe to the UK as the Icelandic Volcano of Doom made air freight impossible last week...

I got 2 for my SLI today (same as you, Nickel + Acetal) as well, such a joy to unpack :D
Also got the Dual serial SLI link with 2x GeForce adaptors but shame as I will not assembly until late May / early June.
(anyways still waiting for my order with the 2x Asus GTX 480 since 27/03...)

will there be also a Backplate for the GTX480 like the HD5870??
Not sure we need a backplate as there is nothing to cool on the back all the critical cooling points are on the front.
Even more inside... Will you open the block up? :P

Nice pretty beefy water loop mine is pretty similar except dual D5's with EK dual top:up:
