    EK-FC480 GTX Testing

Just received my EK GTX 480 full cover water block straight from Slovenia! It was a troubled journey from the other side of Europe to the UK as the Icelandic Volcano of Doom made air freight impossible last week...

Anyway here is a teaser of the box!

More to come later today or tomorrow!

Great, quality stuff! I bet you can't wait to put it on
I got 2 for my SLI today (same as you, Nickel + Acetal) as well, such a joy to unpack

Also got the Dual serial SLI link with 2x GeForce adaptors but shame as I will not assembly until late May / early June.
(anyways still waiting for my order with the 2x Asus GTX 480 since 27/03...)

Not sure we need a backplate as there is nothing to cool on the back all the critical cooling points are on the front.

    EK-FC480 GTX - MIPS Classified Nickle/POM - 2 x Vadim quad radiators - 8 x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1450 - Laing D5 Vario -- All inside a Lian Li case that I gutted and am using as a water-cooling-station-sort-of.

Not quite sure what speed the fans are spinning at though.. I think about 500RPM by the sound(lack) of it.
