Celeron D347 does 7,54GHz on Commando

I got Celeron D347 L649F240 and tried it on my Commando today :)

Temp was -190C in idle and about -185C in spii1M.

higher voltages are not possible cause of the OVP, right?

Try OVP mod und go for more... maybe more mhz are possible with 2,1-2,15V :)

OVP came at 2,06V. But 2,02-2,03V seemed "sweetspot" (compared to 2,04-2,05V) :rolleyes:

Those are some massive clocks there. But there is a better board for Cedar Mill & Prescott out there, believe me :up:

Must be a 965. Tpower bios won't work, DFI is okay, I tried both, but I think Commando or P5B is fastest with the celerons and pentiums.. I'd like to know for sure though, I love those cpus under LN.

Hmm... I've got Biostar TP45 HP so it's worth to buy P5B deluxe or just do bsel mod on my celly and try to push that on Biostar?

I'd recommend Foxconn BlackOps X48. the board with the best and most powerful PWM i have ever had. 2.35-2.4V stable on Prescotts/Cedar Mills, PWM doesn't even get too hot. Note that you will need to BSEL mod it to properly run 533FSB CPU. :up:

Seems I have to solder some more tantalum caps to my Commando and do the OVP mod :D

Just watch out with Commando, the black SMD tantalum caps around the socket are rated for 2V!

Well, no need to do that I think ... You can modify it a bit though, and cool that NB with something like the Swiftech copper NB cooler, with a nice 4cm delta fan screaming at 7k rpm ;) :up:
