Well...i no longer ocing the 9850BE...so now im running at stock with a MSi K9A2 platinum with bios 1.4.
I was wondering can i undervolt the 9850BE from the current vcore to a lower one which still maintaining at stock speed???

Ok, tried. Stock is 1.288v, now using AOD, i set it to 1.2v. CPU-Z report at ~1.208 - 1.216v. Temp drop by 3 degrees as in coretemp.
Using K9A2 platinum and bios v1.4, the bios doesnt allow me to go below 1.3v....does it mean that it needed 1.3v to boot up? Or other bios version able me to go below 1.3v in bios??? I have yet to test bios v1.5 however.
Im using AOD to adjust and auto load when its in window.
K9A2 will not let you under volt (on bios 1.2-1.4 tested) wouldn't under volt on my 9850BE nor my 9550
Ok, i undervolt further now to 1.2v using AOD. CPU-Z reports ~ 1.180 - 1.196v. Thats a drop of 0.1+v with a reduce in temp.

Ok, playing with current vcore of 1.2v, able to play CnC3 no hang/restart/freeze up. Listening to music/movie ok too.
Mean i can still go lower....
Doing 1.18v now. CPU-Z reporting ~ 1.17v now.

Anyway, in AOD, under CPU VID, i set to 1.125v, CPU VDDC is showing 1.288v but its highlight in RED. IS it ok????
The program probably has limits, and you're at the bounds of those limits, so it's telling you there's a problem. But since you did this intentionally, don't worry. So, 1.125v? Have you stressed the processor? If you can get 1.125v stable, that's impressive. I wonder what kind of power consumption the processor is drawing.
Well...i ran a couple of games, play some music, watching movie, doing office work, a few tabs of IE running, doing what i normally do and i yet to get a freeze up.
I was playing around with this same concept on my SB750 board yesterday. I was trying to see the lowest possible working voltage for the chip, so I disabled three cores and clocked down to 1600MHz. I was able to run at 0.800V. Full load pulled just 18W off of the 12V rail. Idle was about 13W. Now that's entertainment. :) Anything less than 0.800V caused a crash, so I'd say you can probably consider that an absolute minimum. I'm hoping that gives you a perspective on usable range now, and that might help you tweak your target voltage. I think 1.1xx is pretty good, personally.

the older cores seem to have been much more tightly binned:
laptop 3400+ clawhammer stock 1.5V (89w DTR cpu)
2200mhz min volts = 1.45
2000mhz min volts = 1.175
thats some huge volts drop for 200mhz freq
desktop x2 6400be 3200mhz @ 1.275v down from 1.4 stock
I'm running a Phenom 9500 at 1.15, haven't pushed to see if it will go lower.
