Im ditching my water setup and going back to air, looking for something to cool down the 2900. So far the best thing ive found is the HR-03 / R600 but no where to be bought? Is it not out yet? Is there something else?
**NOTE** I dont want to have to mod any cpu coolers or anythin gof that nature, just straight install.

The problem with HR-03 etc is cooling of the Rams.........small heatsinks stuck to them just don't cut it (remember your thermodynamic classes)
Other than that its back to Liquid and danger den..........
If you put good heatsinks on them, its fine. Dont use the crappy sinks that coem with the HR03 and its ok :up:Quote:

I'm not sure of the R600 edition, but there's 3 chips on the 8800 GTX that have less than a 1/4 in room before the heatpipes start smacking into them. Too bad those pipes don't go up @ an angle.Quote:
