great post man, would love to know how these do on quads. would be good decent build
-
Hey those look like left over Dark parts, I hope they don't whine. It looks like a good deal if it doesn't.
-
nice board love all them voltage options
please what is vdroop n memory voltage "overvolting?"
-
What the f.. sticker on NB cooler ?
-
seems like a decent board... the ram voltage options are quite mad lol extremely mad would be the right word.

it's a nice board...you can see windwithme review here http://www.beareyes.com.cn/2/lib/200...0070814314.htm
you have to translate to read it..cut story short...he got 560fsb...
-
It's a very good motherboard and for the price it's the best;) let's see if quad-core OC doesn't disapoint
-
IMHO the color sheme is horrible. It's even way worse than the Lanparty P35. BUT, it seems to be a great overclocker and quadcores should also clock quite well. It even has bios options for gtl-ref voltages, which should help with quads and dual cores. If the price is right, it sure is a board to consider buying.
-
Thanks for the preview, looking forward for your quad results
-
how is compared to abit ip35-e?

LANparty P35 overclocking without the ugly green bits.
-
Wow, thats one ugly board, it would look better with the slots just white, or white and red

Are you kidding? It's amazing looking! Red PCB is so nice. :slobber:

I hate when stupid people gripe about a motherboards appearance. Its especially annoying when its a good board. Go put on some mascara.

wow, i respect ur opinion but i think that the lanparty ut p35 is the sexiest board i have seen, i mean it was a woman i would marry it, LOL> jk> but seriously the board is totally different and totally nice when it comes to colors, and this board is pretty decent too, u might just not have taste for those colors but i am sure the most people think that the lanparty ut-p35 is extremely innovative specially when it comes to the colors, it just stands out from all the boards u could put it against. if x38 wasnt so close to launch i would grab one myself.
i heard a news somewhere today the x38 will be launching early next month, just like p35 did weeks before its actual nda lift. the reviews can not be put up before the 25th though. cant freaking wait.

I also am surprise with Quad Core test. It can do FSB 450~470 stable.

Damn, and I just ordered a P5k to replace my dead 965 Infinity, if I'd known this was going to be so nice, I would've ordered it instead.
Edit: Is that toilet paper on your desk:confused: :D ;)

No, Premium Quality Facial Tissues on a roll. ;)

Love the dfi's bios. Looks like a great budget board. How is the vdroop? I have the gigabyte P35-DS3R, and the droop is crazy.
-
wow nice board this one
does the PWM area get hot with a quad
what is the vdroop like on the mobo and is there any vcore drop from set bios value to windows idle :)
can you push the RAM with CAS4 ...we want to see how far it goes :D

Normally I don't even care for the PCB color or the general color combination, but flashy green and yellow Dimm slots on the Lanparty and red PCB combined with blue and white slots on the Infinity are just too much for my taste. At least if it is on such big pictures like the ones in these previews.
But as I already said, as long as this thing perform good, I don't even care anymore. I have no window in my case, so who cares about a color that you don't see? :D It could be the most horrible color in the world and I would still buy the board if it was better than the rest in that price segment. ;)
BTW, I'm an opportunist when it comes to hardware. I am no fanboy by any means, but I buy whatever has the best price/performance ratio or just performs best. I don't care for names or looks, but for raw performance. That's also why my system doesn't look all too shiny and stuff, but rather plain and simple.
So I say: Let's wait for the quad results, but I already think that this could be a great product if the price is right, which I think will be the case here.
One last addition: I really like that DFI stopped placing the useless second 16x PCIe slot on the PCB while it was electrically just a 4x slot. Saves money, too.

Total contradiction here.
You care about motherboard appearance.
just admit it.
This board rules! LanParty performance for about $200 less. Its still the p35 chipset and until there is real 16x / 16x bandwidth from the pci express slots (x38) I see no reason the waste money on the LP.P35
