I just upgraded my E6600 to a QX6700 and installed a MIPS NB & SB cooler. I have one internal Aqua 360 Rad and an external Aquaduct.

I plan on putting another res beneath that one that you see for another loop. Atm I only have a dual radiator and a D5 in the bottom but I plan on putting in a triple radiator and another D5. Will make the computer look well good from the front and side panels ;)

I knew that this was coming! It is 8mm OD x 6MM ID tubing and yes it is a low flow system. Sorry, I do not like garden hose. It is all from Aqua Computer in Germany, except for the NB & SB coolers which are from MIPS in Germany. Please do not discount low flow systems and small tubing as their design allows for a very efficient setup. My temps are quite low and the system is very quiet. The software allows you to set your fan speeds based upon temps and it also allows for shutdown in the event your H20 level falls.
I just replaced my E6600 with a QX6700 so I do not have an accurate idea of how the temps will be with the QX. However, my temps with the E6600 never exceeded 46~47C with an OC of 3.7. Currently the QX is 33C at idle....more to come.

Trust me, I have been using AC gear for about three years and it cannot be done. Based upon my temps there is no reason for concern. I have OC'ed my pumps and the highest temp I have recored is 52C on my first GTX.Quote:

Nice set-up there. I know that some part of the word aren't on garden hose set-ups. And that is alright! The way i see this is : The way we eat down here = the same thing in our computer. Huge bigmac (Mc Donald's crap) = 1\2" ID systems :lol2: Jk

After running Orthos and OCCT at stock speed it is 40C. Unfortunately, it will be a few days brfore I have a chance to OC this chip, but I will post the results. In the meantime, if any of you have any stable settings with this MB and CPU, please post them as I hate to re-invent the wheel!Quote:

hes made a decent watercooling system that gets pretty good temps, it is in no way "useless". I flame sometimes too but idk your comments seem pretty tasteless. (as are mine sometimes)

I clearly pointed out that EU people have a hard time getting our stuff. How is that bashing in any way? Would i recomend this kind of setup to someone? No i wouldnt. Neither would 2/3rds of the members in this forum because its very restrictive.

Actually I don't think this setup is all that bad, apart from the 90s, and the yucky aluminum blocks. First of all, he uses 8mm tubing which is an improvement over the 6mm crap a lot of EU guys use. Second, his rad isn't one of those insane 14 pass thingies (or does he...). FYI for those of you who can't convert metric to this nasty stuff we americans use, 8mm is almost 3/8" ;)
EDIT: crap nevermind, he is using the nasty 6mm stuff...well at least it looks good :D
