Hey there,
Was wondering if anyone here had experience with mounting the Coolermaster Aquagate mini R120 on a board that has a Asus CT-479 + Mobile Proc and IHS.

Experiences about the Aquagate Cooling set are welcome as well. :)
lots of owners reproted that the pump above the block cracks in few months
and few reviews shouwed that this kit can just perform as good as the best AirCooling solutions or better by 1~3C only
Hmmm... then i really guess its seperate components then... :P
I liked the idea of the pump and waterblock combo because that solved my problem of having to find a spot to mount one in my case in the same situation (cpu only lc).
Just for the record though, are there any rads that are 100% copper and can fit on a 120mm cooler hole of a computer case?
And if so... are they any better then similar non-100%-copper rads out there?

The Aquagate mini really isn't better than top of the line air cooling. It's a waste of money IMHO. Really no point unless you buy something good which is going to close to $300 or more. For rads most people suggest one of these:

I'm not sure which waterblocks would fit your board though. Not many people bother to watercool a mobile processor. Is that the socket 478 Asus board with the adapter card for socket 479? Those were pretty cool.

The PA160 uses a single 120 fan and is a a highly rated radiator :)

Just looked at question 2, Ive seen quite a few websites selling cpu blocks with peltiers.
Peltier are quite a responsablity if I remember correctly, Im not sure how the ones that the sites sell run but i know that if your not careful many a person has had it melt their cpu or even catch fire.

Im pretty certain the Storm block would fit on your mobo :P, but its gonna cost you.
I got mine for 50 USD when the apogee was coming out and everyone was getting rid of them, now they are 80 USD.

I have been Aquagate working for a whole year before cracking.
Even that, I really dont recommend it ... CM Hyper6+, Big Typhoon or Scythe NINJA Perform better than the Aquagate Mini R 120
Okay so i had a peak around again.
Maybe not the best there is to get, but as i said its a mobile proc.
I just want it cool and stable.
Even a 10 degree celcius drop from my current 52 Degrees stressed would be fine.

Thing is... if im reading it right, the radiator has 1/4" flow holes and the cpu block has 1/2".
Are there high flow screw converters or something? (To make 1/2" as big as 1/4")?

I dont think i will be able to get a mp05 block around here though.
So it'll be the danger den copper tdx i guess.
