    Hello Guys

excuse me for my English but i hope that you understand me because i would show you the new G,Skill Trident.

    Many thanks to G.Skill.

first some Pics of the kit

    And now a quick test:

    Hardware used:

    Mainboard: DFI DK-X58-T3EH6
    CPU: Intel Core I7 920
    Ram: G.Skill Trident
PSU: Cooler Master Real Power 1250 W

the lower voltage for the 2000 MHz

    and with only 1,65V

    this is the validate: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=557065

Soon other test... also some 3dmark but this time with the CPU under LN2

memtest for dfi needs lower voltage around 0.05-0.06v less
but prime95 large fft 5.4gb.. 1 hour run this is the exact vdimm voltage needed or hyperpi 32m 8-16 threads might be one step vdimm lower

    think u know that already

personally i think for bandwidth voltage on x58 especially on dfi boards
ppl should post hyperpi 32m 4-8 threads

superpi32m or multiple superpi32m ( cause hyperpi assigns each thread affinity) and memtest hci is fake.

Hey guys, i have the same at home
    It's about 920-930 7-8-7-20 1.65v on R2E.

But Memtest is not wrong with vdimm. I use Vista 64bit, so 5.95Gb are used, and it's the most hardcore test for ram. But maybe with 32bit OS, Prime is hte best.

Moreover, i don't think it's samsung chips on this kit...

    maybe board dependent

    but i can assure u
    prime 95 64bit.. like 32bit can detect 5.4gb
    is the best on vdimm.
again memtest hci is the worst followed by memtest86+ for x58's
also are u bs on 5.95gb test in vista.. ure running a lite version??
max i can get available with virtual mem disable etc is 5.4gb-5.5gb

r2e has too many skew, subtiming, issues with overvolted ioh/ich voltage

Damn! XMP is implemented! That's great! I wonder if XMP has the latest Revision 1.2.

there is a safety on it so you can't open it...but 7-8-7-20 + low voltage, it means elpida for me. probably not hyper, but for sure it's elpida

Elpida chips other than hyper has lower performance than Samsung HCF0 in average.. if it's not hyper, then it's probably HCF0.

Maybe for you, but acording to what i get at home, it's elpida's behaviour

well if u want to know whether its a elpida

all elpida hypers can do this at 1.65v or lower
    at the same voltage for

    200mhz CL8,1866 CL7, 1600 CL6. same voltage.
    if u cant do this..

it may feel like elpida, u may even wish it is a elpida.. but it isnt.

also all the 4 elpida kits i have.. the ram speed to vcore increament is very linear.

Where do you read i have said it's hyper ?? There is not only hyper in Elpida's chips. Anyway, even HCF0 can't do this...

I just popped these sticks into my rig and i'm having an issue running them at their stock speed with my oc. Im running an asus p6t6 ws revolution with an i920 @ 4ghz. My vcore is at 1.5v, qpi at 1.39v, and dram at 1.66v. I tried lowering the timings to 10 10 10 28 but no go. Even tried running at 1602mhz and still no soup. I set the ram and ram volts to auto to see what the board would set it at and it gave me 1200mhz at a 2:6 ratio with timings at 8 8 8 20 t1. This is with the cpu at 4ghz (no turbo). I have to say the settings the board put the ram on is actually pretty damn good I have to say, but I want 2000mhz lol. I also tried running everything on stock just to see if the rams could hit 2000mhz and lo and behold she did no prob so I am ruling out physical issue with the ram. I read the revolution cant break 1700mhz with 12gbs of ram at this time but this is 6gbs. I should be able to run 2000mhz no prob with my oc. Any suggestions?
