should i go with a new mobo

    i have a DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-DR

and im wondering since im upgrading my build with 2GB of memory and a 8800gtx and watercooling, should i upgrade the mobo to an ASUS A8N32-SLI, i read the 8phase power is helping alot.

but is the performance any greater to help make me spend the $115?

    by the way im using a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 939 (LDBHE 0604UPAW)
and the memory im going for is Mushkin Extreme Performance Redline PC-4000 2x1GB Kit

    Absolutely not.

You have one of the best 939 boards already. Get a good stepping opteron if you feel like upgrading, it's pretty easy to come by one nowadays.

I have a similar setup and just upgraded my processor to a FX-57. For some advice we need to know what usage you have for your machine. I'm quite happy with my 939 and won't bother paying some big money for a hardware that won't make any difference on my games.

So please give us some more details
