    PDP Patriot DDR2 5300 Elpida

PDP sent me the newest set of 5300 elpida based with brainpower PCB, after thurough testing here is where I am at.

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=80862

I have 4GB total, finishing up best two 2GB testing.

Too much voltage produces errors in memtest 1, these are at 2.25v to hit that speed. I dont expect to be able to maintain 1Ghz once I bring FSB up close to 400.

This is yet another new mobo, vcore all over the place. I cannot get this one to boot above 370Mhz into windows yet it will boot to 390 into memtest. It gets to the windows login screen and reboots itself.

Testing at 300FSB due to reboot problem on Asus I did not want to put my Vapochill through unnecessesary restarts.

Elpida cannot do tight timing. I will back off to stock speed and see if I can memset them. I know setting in bios wont even post.

    4-4-4-10+

    5-5-5-10+

seems to be the best safe settings. SPD wants to run these at 5-6-6-18 over 667Mhz

Not sure, it should be very competitive to Mushkin XP2-5300 product that is also Elpida based.

Timing and clock range are similar.
