Rather insanely nvidia biased. 7800GT performing the same as a X1800XT.

6800GS SLI, faster than a 7800GTX, nearly as fast as the 512 version

shouldnt be that bad a slide show, the 7800 is around 4k.

With so much biased support for Intel/NVidia and nonsenseless benefit of multi-core cpus just doesn`t make sense to me. So now if you wanna be in Hall of Fame you have to spend several thousands $ just for cpu/gpus

how is the 7800gt almost as fast at as the x1800xt? Seems a bit odd to me. Also, i wanna see DC tests, just how much effect does it really have..

Hmm anyone notice that price versus performance shows that 2 x1800 xts perform better than 2 gtx 512's? gtx 512 gains 1941 pts......... $1500 x1800 xt gains 2065......$1069 the choice is obvious. I'm curious to see how the x1800 xt fares at PE clock speeds etc 690 core 800 memory as its preety much a free OC and almost all XT's acchieve this and is just a starting point as they clock much higher. Also curious to see how dual core impacts scores. Test bed was a fx 55.......for a multi threaded bench poor choice IMHO. Same goes for gtx 256 versus x1800 xt price versus performance wise. And then once again the gt versus gtx.

The ATI cards are all with the reference clocks and dont even have the X1800XT-PE.

Now look at the Nvidia cards that they used. They are all overclocked versions from the reference of Nvidia by one manufacter (XFX).
Why they do not used reference clocks Nvidia, instead of overclocked versions?
Why they didn´t used overclocked versions of the ATI cards?

I'm at work and the powers out!

    Time to "work" from home.

Yeah right, I wish. Damn laptops and backup generators!!

I'm surprised the scores are as high as they are. I figured they make it tougher for the next gens coming soon. So that those would be like 5k. Well, there is the cpu score adding to a smaller basline.

Also, is 1280*1024 the new res?

edit: I guess, seems those are the results getting posted. Makes sense.
