What do you mean ? I got a Sapphire X1800 XL card. That Trixx utility aint working because i don't use the sapphire drivers. I got the 5.10a from ATi. But CCC is limmeted to 575-550.

Here are my results.

BTW. I have a GeCube, so it seems that all x1800XL are pretty standard.
That is what I liked to hear, All cards seem to be standard. I say this because locally I can only get Sapphire cards and nothing else yet all these high overclocks are mainly from BBATI cards which left me wondering if Sapphire cards can overclock well at all. I am loving the sound of 630+ core stable and artifact free with 1.225v. If I can get a card like this I would be quite happy. 775 on the mem with stock volts is sick as well.

Check my post, mem volts wasn't stock. Volt had to be bumped up a little but this aint a problem. These cards need more volts anyways

Volt them up and see them fly. I think anything up to XT speeds is safe. I don't know whos gone higher?

try using the omega version of those drivers. I see a few people using those with no issues. I think 5.11 betas are floating around too you can try.

I see these cards available on the net. My question is, is there no mastercard for these XLs available or are they mastercard ready?

Nice one Fugger. First to break an x1800XL ever I bet.

No, no mastercards available for the x1800 cards yet.

If you are in Canada:

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...0&promoid=1008

$479!

if you are in the US:

http://www.us.ncix.com/products/inde...0&promoid=1008

$390!

Grab em while they're still available.

There is no X1800 master card at this time. The Master card when it comes out will be a X1800XT master with duel slot cooler. From the specs going around, it looks like a 600mhz core and 700mhz mem.
The X1800XL will slave to a X1800XT master.

Not that you need the mastercard to bench in xfire mode Just need the drivers to enable it and boom, two non-mastercards can get an amazing score. However, real world gaming performance is minimally increased, and it skips frames, and can only be used in AFR xfire mode. Meaning its only a temporary solution if you buy two non-master cards. But yea, ALL PCI-E X1800s are "crossfire ready", mastercards are "crossfire editions"...main difference is the compositing engine. More here:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...5&page=1&pp=25

Though they'll most likely release the mastercard before end of 06...hopefully

What version of ATi tool are u guy's using to change the voltages ? I got the latest Beta from there forum thats 0.25 Beta 8. But that version dous not have that function.

I will remove my XL cooler soon. I Hope my Zalman VF700 can let te core run on 1.33 v settings. But i don't think i have got A OC miracle. I think its one of the bad cores. I'll make a pic of the core soon.

I have got the tool but i did not set the fan To 100% because of the noice i had it on 5k2 RPM 5k8 is the max. I will try that 100% fan tomorrow.

I hope ATi Tool or ATi Tray tools will support Fan control temp and clock speed and voltage adjustments soon. I would like to make profiles that can be loaded @ startup

big ups to that my friend. Here is hoping for an update to ATI Tray Tools in the next Omega drivers that allows us to do just that. I would love to make profiles as well.

Im using ATI Tool BETA 9. U need to ask Wizzard for this. Its on a request basis. Im sure ur card will OC just fine once u have the right tools.

BTW The link of the OC tool on driverheaven is updated to a newer version.
Get it again and don't worry about 2D mode, mines also greyed out.

so far, using zalman copper sink for cooling i'm able to run through 3dmark at 650/700, turned it up to 675/750 and it ran for a bit but then it crashed to desktop with driver dying aswell. didn't artifact at all though. both were at 1.3v/1.9v , trying 675 again but with 1.35v and 2v mem. temps seem to be about 50c idle and not heat up all that much during benching.

EDIT, just did 689/800 1.375v/2v and got 9215 score. running 2gig cheap cruicial and 4400X2 which are both , right now, clocked very conservatively. 2.35Ghz/235Mhz 3,3,3,8. dropped some speed since i went to uni and left watercooling at home. winters coming though so should be able to push that up again, will play around with that later. no arties with that run , feels like it has way more in it.
