My PC makes alot of noise. I think that the problem lies with the NB fan. is there any replacement that would do the same job without making contact with the vid card? also, how hot is the NB able to get without causing major problems? could i just set it to operate at a minimum until it gets to >55*C?
thanks in advance
edit: just saw a thread i could put this question under

Hey, if you wanted to do some overclocking with a setup like that, you actually have some room to rubberband a fan against the side of that heatsink.

if you got a mid tower with a side intake, consider a thermaltake "ducting mod". you can install that zalman, and blow air right on it using cool air from outside your case by using that 80mm clear PVC duct. Its curved at about a 45 degree angle, and also looks great, and silences the fan a bit (due to less turbulance). and in my opinion, much better than using rubberband to hold a fan on lol
i currently have mine setup feeding my zalman 7000, but am gonna get the zalman nb cooler, and point it thataway
