    K8NXP-SLI Testing...

This motherboard seems to work very very good , cold boot at high HTT (320) is OK.
    Bh5 are stable at 200mhz.
New options in bios : choose between many sort and brand of ram sticks and rgb (robust graphic card) overclocking (probably 3D1) ,
You can apply more than 300 in one shot.
    1,75 vcore-->1,78 Windows and stable.
Mine is an early sample (A2)

Here is a 280X9 shot , just pi patched.

I read in a rewiev about 3.1V Vdimm. True? Or still 2.7V?

I hope mine will do as well as your Should be no difference in the non-sli version??

What is the best SuperPi 2 MB you get with this board?
Non-SLI version is now available at newegg, in good new tradition of newegg, gauged at $129+$5 shipping.

what's the highest 1:1 you can acheive?

misteroadster, I have this board and I am so far 1:1 at 280HTT 2.5-3-3-7 Prime stable (FX55). Great board so far. Question, what in your opinion does the "core power voltage" in the MB Intelligent Tweaker area of the bios do? Anandtech's review says that is PCI Express voltage, while TBreaks review says Chipset voltage. I am hoping it is chipset voltage, but if you have any insight please let me know. Thx again for your early review. This board has been great so far

effectively , it's PCI-e voltage , update your bios and it will be renamed

Thats the weird thing I am at bios F6 (newest) and it says "core" still. Also, I can't seem to overclock past 265 1:1 until I put core power voltage at "+.2" . Than I can get to 280 1:1 no problem. Thing is if this is PCI Express Voltage I am wondering about frying a PCI Express card since that seems like a big increase. Also even with a PCI card on the board (no pci express) I need "+.2" core voltage to get to 280. So if that was PCI Express voltage wouldn't that effect nothing if no card was in? Yet I still get the same results. Weird huh? That is one other reason I was thinking this was Chipset voltage. What have you been keeping your voltages at for core and htt?

    Thx again,

    D

Isn't that board just the most packed board you have ever seen? I just bought one the other day... and I"m hoping the DFI isn't better than it so I won't have to sell it.

I'm just hoping it will work with a booster.

Ya, the board is pretty damn sweet. The Bios OC options are perfect, tons of memory settings and even memory brand settings! The New Version of Firewire is pretty cool and the included wireless card was nice. I think the only thing they could have done better is the DDR Voltage options, but since I have GSkill TCCD I don't have to worry, 2.7V is all I need

This thing also overclocks like mad, my only concern is the above mentioned "Core Power Voltage". I don't want to fry a GF 6800 Ultra if this is PCI Express voltage.

Another thing on this mobo I noticed is when you clock the PCI Express bus to about 110 MHZ you get stability at higher FSB's. Anyone else notice this with Athlon 64 and PCI Express? I am so far at least 15MHz higher on my FSB with this thing when I brought it up ten. Even without a PCI Express card (I tested with a PCI card). I heard Xbit labs did a review with P4's and PCI Express and noticed a similar trend. Weird huh?

Sorry i've done a little mistake , in fact core power voltage is named PCIE voltage in bios F1 :

Any o fyou try F6 Bios yet? I've noticed I've had a little instability lately with my GTs clocked to 400 on the core.

I am using f6 currently. I haven't tried any other. I was debating using f1. Did you get better clocks with that (FSB and GPU)?. I haven't had any issues with f6 so far. Knock on wood.

Damn Misteroadster! what are you cooling those 6800 ultras with? Are you raising the pci-e bus too? or are you keeping it are around 100? I want to see some pics of this rig in action! You seem to have great luck on gigabyte boards.
