    what size compressor? (r404a)

    does anyone know who makes this compressor and what size it is?

    its rated 547w@-23 deg 1/2 hp and the manufactors name is on the compressor

    use this chart
    The pertenant information is ae2420
    Low temp R404A @ -10 suction it will move 2000 Btu.
    Although the chart is for american compressors (Tecumseh) the manafacturer sticks with its numbering system only the family of compressors is not shown but thats irrelevant to sizing here.

    it is from "hu france" but i don't know the power....other cae models are all 1/2HP

    how many watts would you say 2000BTU

    2000 Btu/hour [I.T.] = 0.5861421 kilowatt
    or 586 watts.

    it draws 3.3A for about 800w running in a system, now i need some r404a for it

    Or 507 essentially 507 and 404 are the same thing.

    I have a brand new one like yours...
    I think that L'Unité Hermetique is the same that Tecumhse...

    It's a 3/8cv r404a Low Temp compressor
