    Problems and Bug reports:***
EVGA WatchDog Timeout: related directly to ram timings or speed. if you are getting this your ram timings are to tight for the speed set at least for the motherboard to handle.

Losing half your memory i.e. windows shows only 2gb of 4gb usable.: socket contact issue. Get a really go back plate and it solves it 9 out of 10 times

Just put the board on the bench to test some GSkill F3-16000cl6d-4gbpis sticks. Using the A56 bios I noticed the memory performance @ the rated settings of 6-9-6-24 2t to be very low in Everest read. I was getting scores of 15K running 2000Mhz 200x21 Win7 64bit. I expected results in the 20K plus range. Sure enough when I changed to cas7 the read speeds jumped by 5K points. I suspect the bios guys need to work on this. This is all preliminary because I want to see what all my new kits will do. I have the Patriot Sector 5 cas8 kit in now and Everest results look good so far. Also testing the GSkill 17600cl7d kit and Corsair Dom gt 16000 cas8 kit on this board. There are quite a few mem voltage tweaks available with A56 and that will take some time to optimize performance on each kit.

are the qpi ratios only availabile on E659? ive got a e657 and tried A58... did not see any additional ratios

also for what its worth... not sure if memory bandwidth is lacking... then again ive tightened down this memory as low as it will go w/ staying memtest86 stable 8+ loops

    for A58 bios:

    Excellent
Couldn't agree more, we really needed a good thread on these fine boards here at XSF.
And thanks to Jor3lBR for the bios templates.

for you guys that can, you should really measure voltage from the measurement points... im finding that software reports voltage higher than actual... the only thing that was right on was the VTT

While that is a lot of vcore, I am curious to see the effect it has if any on the cpu over time.

doh you are right it was a typeo

    1.18

1.8 w/ the cooling i have would probably start a small fire in a matter of seconds

I agree... this motherboard line deserves its own dedicated thread!
Ryzen 9 on the test bench... Sometimes older generation/tech as well.

take the time to tweak and memtest all the ram settings... its really worth it and the board is capable of holding some pretty tight timings.
