does MCW-NBMAX fit :banana::banana: 7/16in. Compression fittings?

Picking up a rampage and I'm gonna replace the nb with the MCW-NBMAX. I have a pair of bits_power 7/16 silver compressions and was wondering if there was any compatibility issues with these two parts.

banana??? wtf?

The outer diameter of our CC6/CC4/CC3 is 24MM.

From the SPEC of MCW-NBMAX...It might fit...But need to have real one on hand to check.

I back to this forum first and then those will be next.

there was a whole thread dedicated to different compression fitting brands and sizes and which blocks the will fit. if my memory serve me right, the 7/16 one should barely fit, but the 1/2" one will not. let me dig up that thread and verify it for you

very off-topic, but does this mean vince is not banned anymore?

found it. as long as the OD is 5/8" or smaller, it should fit. everything you see on here has been tested, not speculations

Thank you WhiteFireDragon. That chart is very helpful.

They need to fix the bananas. I'm in the middle of reading that thread now.

Are there any other solutions for the rampage extreme? or is this nb block my only choice?

I installed one of those in my x48 RE and my NB and SB improved by 10C....could be that I applied better thermal paste than the workers at asus though.

I see it comes with the cooler for the circuit above the memory as well. Does it come with a mosphet block(s) as well? That would make it worth the price.

I believe you have to buy the mosfet blocks separately. I used 7/16x 5/8" compression fittings on the MCW-NBMAX on a Rampage Extreme board, and they worked fine. I ended up using one 45 degree fitting because it was less crowded on the block top, and also helped with my loop layout:

Wonder if those BananaPower 45 degree fittings work on a MCW60. That's the only part of my loop that uses regular barbs, but I can't fit regular compressions that are larger than 3/8" (I use 7/16" tubing).

Here's a pic of a 45 on the MCW60 (4870 version) ... not sure if the 4870 version differs in size. The regular compression fitting is 3/8 x 5/8 (which I believe we've previously determined has the same outer dimensions as the 7/16x5/8" fittings):

Afaik, the delrin top on the MCW60-4870 is identical to a regular MCW60.

I've tried my 7/16" compression on it, and it's too fat, so I had my eye on these.

If I'm reading the description correctly, it sounds like you can keep the rotary pointed in one direction while screwing it down, so in theory it should be possible to get two of them on a MCW60. Maybe.

Those should work ... I have a couple of them as well, but ended up going with straight barbs on my MCW60. It may take some coordination to get them screwed on - the rotating part is pretty stiff at first, but don't see why it wouldn't work just fine.

I just want to note here (and be completely off topic) that I appreciate the BananaPower moniker and I move that B!tspower should officially change its name to BananaPower

I am not sure who is maintaining that spreadsheet, but I have personally verified that B P D-Plugs fit just fine on a D-Tek Fuzion GFX V2 block, both inlet and outlet at the same time. This includes the use of the D-Tek Unisink. It does not interfere with the D-Plugs at all.

I've been getting a bit tired of the silly bananas all over the place and the banana jokes. BUT ... THAT was funny. Gave me a good laugh. Thanks, Laine

(And, I hope to heck this banana:banana thing gets sorted out soon!)

But it was coming... like a 50 foot tsunami wave.

I hope things go well with B*P. B*P fittings are kinda manditory to me now.
