That looks like a great paint job! Did you drill out the rivets and paint each part individually or did you paint the chassis as a whole?

At my work we have a professional paint shop, I bring it at 9h am in the morning and at 12h30 pm she was already dry, people are really amazing there, it save me money and a lot of time. And no I did not even touch the rivets, they paint it as a whole.

Thanks

First Order Arrived + Sleeving!!

I start this project 3 weeks ago at a really slow pace, I will update this work log and try to cover the last 3 weeks ASAP, I will post picture per subject and try to cover them quickly.

These pictures are from the first order I received from Jab-tech.

Now I will show you a lot of picture from the sleeving I did, I start with the 24 pins an 8 pins Power that came with the Cosmos S case, following with pump cables, fans cable and also I sleeve cables from the power module of the Cosmos S.

Update coming really soon, keep commenting it's really appreciated, and if you have any advise or sugestion they are also really appreciated.

Thanks

When I came back home with my new flat black Cosmos S I was really happy with the result until I put the back door in place, I notice that you can see aluminum through the cable management hole, I decide to get some flat black paint for my work and fix this small problem.
Here some picture from before and after.

Since I and going Liquid for the first time, I don't need the huge side window fan. So I install a side window instead. This is my first any only mistake as of now, the window is awesome but when I use the screw to fix the window I put a little to much force and make little mark on the outside. If they after time annoyed me too much I will certainly buy a new door.

Second order arrived, slowly coming in, only 3 fans this time.

Third order arrived the day after, a little bit more this time, Compression fittings, Tubing and UV lighting.

Since one of the first parts I receive was the 3 X SCYTHE "ULTRA KAZE" 120 x 38 mm 2000 rpm I decide to install them in the top of the Cosmos, I was aware of the modifications needed but I was not expecting that much work.

Here some pics of the work that I done to make them fit.

I am in the process of sleeving my PSU cables, the only ones remaning are the SATA's. I need to decide my HDD configurations. I got 2 X 74Gig Raptors + 3 drives for storage 1 X 1TB, 1 X 500GB and 1 X 250GB.

The way I was planing it is like shown in the next picture, use the drive cage for my two Raptors and leave some space between for air flow.

But I only have two 3.5" to 2.5" bracket at hand, I was finally thinking about placing 4 HDD in the cage, do you think it will really hurt temp to compare to having only the two Raptors like shown in the picture?

Thanks

Should be OK so long as they can still get some air. HDD's prefer a bit of warmth anyway (helps the mechs or something if I recall...)

That was the reason I asked, if you did that yourself and it came out that nice.
It was worth investigating

Looks spiffy.
