yeppers both of them wound do the trick probley better getting the triple easier to fit and a bit cheaper but if you want bragging rights go for the big one

i wound recommend WCUK buying the rad, best service around http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cata...roducts_id=957 priced at £84.99 but using this code cpc001 you can get 10% off

hehehe cool, cheers guys. I normally get my stuff from http://www.chilledpc.co.uk.

Need to get the SS sorted on the CPU first, then I can look into water cooling the gfx cards

Will a TFC X-Changer quad cool dual 4870X2s, a Q9450, and an x48 chipset, with everything overclocked? Is there any 120.5 rad currently being made or sold?

Speaking of which, what is up with TFC's website?
It's like a cross between X-Men vs Mortal Kombat.

Well I don't know anything about how a quad performs, but I'm assuming a tfc performs slightly better than a thermochill, which is 7% more efficient than a swiftech.

My guess is that a tfc can dissipate 500-600 watts with a quad radiator, probably easily disspates 450 watts at 7v fan or so.
The tfc 4 is more than enough for what you are looking at.

danger den has a system with

    Two QX9775's (skulltrail)
    DX skulltrail NB
    TWO 3870 X2's

all cooled with just a ddc and a black ice extreme GTX480 with 4 fans (push) and some decent overclocks on the two quad cores, worked perfectly.

    You'll be fine.

While this is extreme systems and people will always recommend the best you can get , but if you're looking for stable overclocks and good temps a PA120.3 (expecially push pull) will be FINE for just the cards, and the TFX480 will be fine for nb, cpu, and two cards.

Great to know!!! I was under the impression that I would need multiple 120.4 rads!! Is that DD system heavily overclocked?

Hmm this reminds me of someone who laughed at my suggestion that a 120.3 for each gtx280 was retarded and a waste of money.

Look you'll be able to run your pc. If you were aiming for a quiet box well you may just find that you need your fans on 2000 rpm. However you'll never know until you give it a go.
