    Foxconn Destroyer - bios thread

    all right

new thread for some new bios for destroyer

    0512

the best bios I've ever test

10/10 (for now, because I haven't phenom when it was on borad)

    + high htt (even 380mhz)
    + high voltages
    + fast boot
    + quantum bios (0424 hasn't got it)

    0529

    my filings about it

    2/10

    + it's new
    + it's work

    - long booting time
    - low htt (only one time board boot with htt300mhz, with phenom is really low)
    - no nb multiplier (big - because if you want ocing with htt)
    - no cpu multiplier (up) with 9600BE
    - some times boards is booting even 30 seconds ;/

what I want form you in new bios:

    1. nb multies
    2. unlock cpu multi (if on board is 96be)
    3. high htt just like in the 0512

in the close future will be little updated about the 0424

    0602

the worse bios I've ever tested.

    + it's new
    + it's work

    - safe mode is running when I do HTT269+ (273 and no boot, freeze, reset)
    - sometimes mb boot fast but sometimes boot is very long
    - can't overlock my 1620 more than 34xx (34xx for a validation)

My filings about the board it's very bad with another new bios. Now even the 0512 doesn't work as good as couple weeks ago.

I'm little scare about this bios and his work with phenom 9600BE

    I don't know what I should think about 0602.

    edit

this bios has "htt hole" 273 isn't work but the 300 it's fine, later even htt350 is working but 360 not.

0602 has regulation of nb/cpu multi, I like it. For more tests you have to wait, but don't think there won't be extreme scores.

so after all would you consider it a better bios than 0512?
about 0512 not working as well anymore... thats rather unlikely... maybe you didnt use exactly the same settings?
or maybe the settings you used work sometimes better and sometimes worse?
i heard this about k10 a lot, one day a certain speed is stable, the next day the same settings dont work anymore

today i'll see what I can do with 0602 and phenom. Maybe 0602 will be better choice for x2 (i've got one nice cpu, this one >thx milans<)

When I was tested 0512 month ago and couple days ago I used exactly the same settings. Settings which I use when I testing max htt it's always the same.

    about k10 and speed.

I think it's true, 2 days ago 96be (thx svende) working with 2500mhz on cool but yesterday I've seen blue screen of death (windows installation is ok).

yesterday night I was thinking about my new rams (corsair dominator 8500) and in my opinion they have tightly spd

but I have got 1gb of crucial lanfest and I test with it and nothing change (the same settings as always).

I was trying to do some 3d scores but my graphics card is very low end vga (gf 6600 ddr2)

who send me better vga ?

of course, its designed for ocing so the PWM should have plenty of AMP headroom!
let me check with the engineers... yepp, it supports 140W TDP cpus easily ^^
