Some new builds to work on:
ASUS P5Q-E build 0702
ASUS P5Q Deluxe build 0702
ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe build 0702
Note that 2 new options are added, CPU and NB clock skew. Set CPU to 400 ps and NB to 100 ps to get some extra FSB (play ofc with these settings).

Thx PMP will test it today , hope to improve some rambandwith here
EDIT : For my QX quad all seems to be the same... will have to try the wolfies soon... only thing I noticed is that Static Read Contol can remain on auto, while I had to disable it before to get it to post... latency on the ram is still the same and performance level manual set too...
This board is moving fast, good job PMP...will this be the new Commando ? So nice 400FSB/1066Mhz out of the box with minimum voltage settings...8Gb of ram and a Quad
Kind regards Albrecht

Hence it has to do with some internal delays, overall performance is still better due to higher FSB clock. In theory :P

i reached 560MHz prime stable with conroe when i had it for review and with unmature bios.
If it profits of the new bios as the p5q dlx, 600mhz no prob. Without the new version i could also get only 560 with p5q dlx and conroe.

On Air (Arctic Freezer 7 Pro), and PC2-8000 (1000) 4GB - How far do you guys think I'll be able to take my Q9450? The board is being delivered tomorrow. CPU & RAM are sitting packaged & sealed in their boxes at home.

Depends on what you want to do... max overclocks this board seems sweet with the latest biosses, day to day use with same clocks... don't think there will be much that differencs from P35/X38/X48/P45...

PMP you have any idea if the P5Q premium version will have voltage and temp readouts for NB and SB ?

True, but it would appear that current highend gpus are starting to be held back under 8x 2.0. If this is the case then surely next gen cards will widen the gap
(I hope this is considered on topic )
