    Crucial PC3-8500F presenting Micron D9-HXT

As Saaya and I had an debate around D9GTR and other D9 IC by Micron, i would like to show my D9-HXT IC. They're are 128MB chips (4 chips per stick = 512MB - the same as D9GTR), my first thought was they were:
    a) relabeled D9-GTR
    b) low-bin D9-GTR

It seems they're quite as good as any other D9GTR. They easily do 800+ 6-5-5-12-36 (Trfc) @ 2.2V SuperPI 32M (haven't tried them any higher until now). I bought them three weeks ago but unfortunatelly hadn't had time play at all with my PC.

I think they're quite a decent pair of memory sticks for everyone who wants to start into DDR3 world. I payed like 96€ for 2x512MB, which i think it's a reasonable price for a memory with as high OC potential as any other Crucial Ballistix, MSC Cellshock, ... memory for 300€+.

    7-6-5-21 ( tRFC @ 60 )
    8-7-6-21 ( tRFC @ 72 )

They still seem rather expensive considering that you can get 4 gig of DDR2 ram for less. Although if you can afford it, it gives you a DDR3 system that you can upgrade to better ram when the prices come down.

interesting find but i think those are old chips...
too bad they dont clock any better than 1gb sticks with D9GTR...

Micron 78 and 86 ball parts are cheaper than 96. 96ball is definitely early chips. They're slightly moving to 78ball IC's.
