    the 790 is 10-13W tdp that wont heat up dims, but i dont see the point


    amd has the imc so there is no memory controller to heat up the nb it just kills the cpu instead

    why exactly do we need all these heatpipes? a fan over the memory is heaps enough

    you still have to pay for it though. but I'm sure there be plenty other ASUS Boards withouth that fancy heatpipe

    that would be a pain in the ass to get some tim in there so it could conduct heat from the memories heat spreader

    Here in Sweden the WIFI version with memory heatpipes is 25-30 Euro more than the one without. So it's not that big of a difference pricewise.

    it looks like you can still use the other two slots,but those memory dimms wont have no bling

    wasn't the general consenses from the original thread about this board that all that heatpipe crap will do nothing more than heat up the chipset?

    Thaks god the specs don't change if you buy the one without the WiFi/Mem Heatsinks...

    its like the p5k-e compared to the deluxe u just get more heatpipes as far as i can tell
