Hi,
I have a X2 6000+ on a Crosshair and is really giving me a headache trying to OC' it, I'm starting to think that either is a problem with the Mobo or the settings.
Sometimes it stays stable at 3.4GHz, others crashes only at 3.2GHz. It isn't a CPU temperatures problem cause they never go above 45º, I think it's the Mobo instability in Voltage.
Some info:
Could someone with a system similar as mine post the complete settings of the BIOS? So that I can't compare them or try them if they are different to some of myne, I'm really going nuts with this.
Thanks.
EDIT: Sorry if this wasn't the right thread to post this request but this one was in wich I found more info with systems similar to mine.
If anyone decides to take the time to answer me and don't want to post here, please feel free to send the info in a pm.

for HTL maybe u can lower a bit, then try to add sum vcore..
mind to attach ur ram tab (cpuz)
CPU: Intel Core i5 660 @ 4GHz / 1.28v
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Vortex Plus
MBD: MSI P55-GD65
RAM: 1GB Adata
GFX: ATi Radeon X700Pro 256MB
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F2 1.5TB
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 750W
VcoreA and B are not from core 0&1 respectively as in every K8 chip the Vcore is the same for both cores on die.
i would trust cpuz in this case.
maybe a bad die to ihs or ihs to hsf contact?
anyway, its really nice speed for 1.328V

I know it goes higher, but I like low volts.

low voltage is just a number; high frequency is something I can relate to
Ryzen 9 3900X w/ NH-U14s on MSI X570 Unify
32 GB Patriot Viper Steel 3733 CL14 (1.51v)
RX 5700 XT w/ 2x 120mm fan mod (2 GHz)
Tons of NVMe & SATA SSDs
LG 27GL850 + Asus MG279Q
Meshify C white
I like low volts as well, especially because I can see on my KillAWatt how it affects power consumption.
For everyday use my Rig is taking 150-200W in normal usage and around 340W when gaming. If I want absolute max from it then welcome to 400W area !
My personal best was touch of 700W when Cross Firing some 3DMark06

Hi!
I have 2 X2 5200+, both are F3 but the steppings are CCB6F 0710UPMW and CCB6F 0712UPMW.
I'll be testing with MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX next week. What can I expect from this CPUs?
Thanks!!
Hopefully they will oc to 3GHz ++ the 5200+ is one of the best! Post your results when you're done

Welcome dblooi. Nice SP1M!! Wich stepping you got? Awsome oc on thet board too! That actual vcore cpu-z showing?
EDIT: The fx55 score is a bug, the actual score is 2601,67MHz: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=125901

hi likmark ,
Batch Code is 0736 GPMW
actual vcore is showing in SS, 1.7v
CPU-Z 1.41 has no issue in reading correct vcore
FX55 actually did make it to 7GHz (But how he make it , i hv no idea ),
The cpu-z server has bug on this,
when u click on the [detail] , it shows the 1st attempt of the user instead of showing the actual result.
Try to click on mine, you won't see the 3.9GHz result as well
I see, found something else too
nice score .. congrats..
New toys bought today.
Maybe someone remember the stepping of the 1620 from my other one..
Next week Dryice session with all that stuff.
My 6000+ which i will test too.

What cooling you're using to reach that clocks on X2 3800+?
@funkflix
DI session will be interesting
Your 1620 is terrific!
