DDR3-1600 Supertalent chip Micron Z9 - Very fast modules

Supertalent Just Released the following DDR3 products
    W1600UX2G7 DDR3-1600 2GB Kit (2x1GB) 7-7-7-18, 1.8V black heatsink
    W1600UX2G9 DDR3-1600 2GB Kit (2x1GB) 9-9-9-21, 1.8V black heatsink
    W1333UB2G8 DDR3-1333 2GB DIMM 8-8-8-18, 1.8V black heatsinks
the kit in my hands is W1600UX2G9 DDR3-1600.

    Testbed
    - Asus P5K3 Deluxe, 0604 BIOS, no vmod
    - Core 2 Duo E6420, 1067FSB
    - 2x1GB Supertalent DDR3-1600 9-9-9-21 Micron z9 chip
    - PSU 500 watts
    - Video card 8800GTS 640 MB at default GPU/RAM frequency, ForceWare Release 158 Version: 158.22
    - 2xRaid0 Maxtor Diamondmax 21
    - Air cooling
    - sata hard disk
    - windows xp sp2
    - Ambient temperature was 26 °C (it was very hot)

Stability test results at default specs(yes=run ok, no=run nok)

    Everest - Sandra Memory Bandwith - SuperPI 1M RAM 1600 7-7-7-14@1.8v

    SuperPI 32M - 3DMark06 RAM 1600 7-7-7-14@1.8v

    Everest - Sandra Memory Bandwith - SuperPI 1M RAM 1800 9-9-9-21@1.8v

    SuperPI 32M - 3DMark06 RAM 1800 9-9-9-21@1.8v

How much fast are these modules?

    superpi 1M CPU 515x7=3.6GHz RAM DDR3-1648 7-5-5-12@2.1v

    superpi 1M CPU 515x7=3.6GHz RAM DDR3-1648 6-5-5-12@2.25v

    superpi 1M CPU 451x8=3.6GHz RAM DDR3-1422 5-5-5-12@2.25v

The results are obtained without any OS optimization and without any mem/OS tweaking.

How much is the maximum frequency for these modules?

    DDR3-2043@2.25v dual channel

Now some 3DMark tests with CPU fixed frequency around 3.6 GHz in order to make some comparison with DDR2 technolgy and same CPU frequency and video card

    3DMark06, 3DMark05, 3DMark03 CPU 450x8 RAM DDR3-1440 6-5-5-14

    3DMark06, 3DMark05, 3DMark03 CPU 515x7 RAM DDR3-1648 6-6-5-15

The least but not the last, some tests at maximum RAM frequency and RAM tightest timings benchable for my cpu with air cooling, because I think that with "coldest" cooling and more voltage on the RAM they will be able to do better results.

    SuperPI 1M CPU 485x8 RAM DDR3-1940 8-7-6-18@2.25v

    SuperPI 1M CPU 489x8 RAM DDR3-1958 8-7-6-18@2.25 v

    SuperPI 1M CPU 494x8 RAM DDR3-1976 8-7-6-18@2.25v

    Memory bandwith and latency CPU 494x8 RAM DDR3-1976 8-6-6-15@2.25v - EVEREST>12k

v_parrello, very nice results! any chance to post the bios settings please? i tried to overclock some g.skill and i am seing weird behaviour for the mobo. at 2V it shows memtest errors, at 1.8v works fine
of course supertalent is different, but just to see what you used please

First of all we are talking about Micron Z9 chip and I do not know the chip that your ram are using.

Anyway, there are my bios settings but I am not sure that they will be useful with your RAM, you have to try:

    good lucky!
