    Cool HowTo Solder Video

This is a training cd for through-hole soldering. This will teach you how to solder connections on circuit boards etc. The cd goes through safety, workstation, technique, etc.

It will ask for a PIN and a name. Just put in whatever you want, it's not secured or anything. don't even know why that's there.

Finally, to launch click on IntroSL within the folder.

I will seed starting now, while I fold.

Thank you, I will be sure to watch this video.

EDIT: Downloaded very quickly, but the ISO extraction with WinRAR crashed explorer.exe.
REEDIT: Why dont you just seed the .MOVs?

I apparently got this "virus" from the first video:

    not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.SaveNow.bv

    My AV is Kaspersky.

*Just a warning, might just be a fluke.

It seems if you don't pay rapidshare you have to wait for a period of time to download next file, really annoying. Didn't get the torrent to work, but when I waited for every file at rapidshare and finally got all of them home it worked without a flaw, nice training video.

    Great Videos.

I been doing all my own soldering for years, and basically learned it as I went. never had anyone actually teach me anything, so I just got junk and started figuring out how to solder onto things, like old VCR parts, or anything that had a PCB really...
I've done fine learning on my own over the years, but these videos even opened up my eyes on a few things that would help me too.
make the job alittle easier next time.

    great videos.

I've got the exact same problem. Could you possibly upload the video somewhere else? The torrent is completely dead, and I'm not allowed to download anymore than the first clip for the moment.

    it's slowly uploading atm...

btw, the video is very good introduction to soldering, but I wished that it would have gone into more detail about soldering smaller components.

It only deals with soldering a wire through a hole on a PCB (if that makes sense). However, they cover all the basics of soldering that any noobie should listen to (such as myself).

Can somebody copy-paste the torrent file into a post? Rapidshare is being really stupid (I am not waiting 180 minutes between files...)
