    8800GTS/GTX - Post Your Clocks!

Hey all, I am trying to gather data from here, EOC and the [H] about how these 8 series cards are clocking for people.

I am going to do as "Thread" did at EOC and create a spreadsheet with user names and the clocks they have achieved. It will contain data from the three sites in a big spreadsheet with the following info:

    - Username
    - Brand/Model
    - Core/Mem Clock
    - Cooling method
    - Idle/Load Temps
    - Misc info. i.e. - volt mods, thermal paste changed, bios mod etc..

So if you guys could provide the info above, I will gather all the data together for one big spreadsheet. I was very interested in the results over at EOC, and hope that we can discuss these results more.

Please! If you do participate, take a look at this first: LINK . This is to be sure you are reporting accurate clocks, and getting the most out of your card. Saying that you are running "660" core is a dead giveaway that you have not read about how these cards clock

Feel free to suggest any other info you guys think may be a good idea to include.

    Update: June 28th

Wow, I've been away for what feels like ages.. I just got done moving into a new home and have finally had some time to mess around on the 'puter. I volt modded my core and have reached 729 with 1.4V! I am testing further to be sure it is stable at this speed, but it is looking good so far!

Anyways, I updated the charts with what I could find, and I would also like to mention that some people have shown interest in including 3DM06 scores and cpu specs to better gauge the performance difference that overclocking these cards has.

I just started overclocking my dual 8800gts 640mb SLI cards. They're EVGA variety and i can run the cores stable at 650mhz. I have yet to get into clocking up the memory.

    stock cooling, no mods.

I am running XFX 88GTX XXX Edition at 660 1000 with 41C-64C temps with stock cooler. I still have some tweaking to do but this is my 24/7 stable clocks and I still have room to go up from here.

    Hi!

since my 8800GTS (and all other G80 based card) running HOT, i was about to change my stock cooler system, replace it with Thermalright HR-03 Plus!
since the weather turned so warm here Hungary, i was not able to run my 8800GTS with OC! it was generating visual artifact, nv4_disp.dll BSoD etc...
so i had to go back to default clocks, but still my card temp was:
    idle 53-55 celsius
    load: 68-70 celsius.
So I almost ordered HR03 Plus for ~50 euroes... expensive... considering i bought the VGA for ~250 euros...

    BUT!
i saw a home made cooling mod picture for 8800 series... and i decided to make it myself!
    here we are:
    http://aycu12.webshots.com/image/146...1188206_rs.jpg
removing the stock case from the card was easy (4 screws only)
    http://aycu16.webshots.com/image/176...6603227_rs.jpg
the I applied the 80mm fan with blue led
    http://aycu38.webshots.com/image/163...8270532_rs.jpg

    cool, iznit?!
    new temps:
    idle: 45 celsius
    load: 58-59 tops

    now you do the math...!
worth it for almost free? u only need a 80 or 90mm cooler.

pretty poor clocking card. I'll be throwing it on water and adding some voltage soon, hopefully it will do better.
