I'll just wait for the countless negative comments to follow from the "Skyline is God" and "How dare you disgrace that car" fanclubs

... mustang engine ???? huge??? lol a 281/302 is by no means HUGE, lol. in america we call them small blocks for a reason. anyways, single turbo 306 at 30 psi = 1133whp.(with built internals and all that fyi)
and a huge motor, would be a 427, or bigger, we call them big blocks, and there is definantly reason behind it. you ever seen a piston the size of a newborn baby?

I think the skyline is a badass car and also think the ls1 is a beasty engine nothing wrong with swapping the motor.

Yea, those little 03/04 Cobras, and the slow C6 Z06, Viper, low output GTO. No wonder they have the reputation they have. Just really big noisemakers. Also, theres a big difference between a v6 Mustang with an exhaust, and a gt with some supporting mods.
I could car less what country a car comes from, just how it preforms. There are quite a few American made cars with great handling and power, and there are quite a few foreign made ones. And theres plenty of crap from all makers.
I have my share of tracktime, and I've been owned completely by some serious track R34's, but I've never had a stock turbo skyline be even close to the kennybell. Its pretty quick even for a huge low output ugly American V8.

lol, it's only huge if you think about the amount of room the 4.6 takes up. seriously, any european car thats decent has a v6 or v12, and they are just about the same size/cyl. as our v8's. but yeah, like i said, you wanna see huge? go look at a ford cobrajet460, or a dodge 500+ci motor.

I don't think he was taking about just the physical size itself, just that he thought they don't make any power for the displacement for some reason.

Nice ride Ken, those 03-04 Cobras are one of the few Mustangs I wouldn't mind driving.

Thanks. Makes me very sad too see the new generation Cobra though. In my mind, it should be more of an enthusiast car, not a name endorsed retro one. And I just can't stand looking at the new style.
