Thats a very impressive FSB for the DFI 975 mobo. Which bios were you using and was the it at 1:1 ratio?
Sourcing parts for a mildly over clocked abacus.

I don't know. Te board is still here, so if you have any idea for better overclockability then please share with me. I tried to disable the HyperPath settings and use BySPD timings for the memories and raise the FSB az MCH voltages, but none of them helped. Is there something I have forgotten?

How much time did you spend on the boards? Im not trying to be critical, just out of interest?
And was it easy to get the gigabyte 965 series to that fsb???

Very impressive Abit AB9 clocking, considering it runs on FSB1066 strap. What BIOS have you used ?

about one (sometimes two) day(s) per board. It means 13-14 hours of testing per day. The Gigabyte boards are easily overclockable. Just push the FSB and MCH voltages to +0.1V (FSB: +0.2V) and set the RAM timings by hand and go.

Version 15 is final, there's a beta 19 tho' wich seems to help the overclocking greatly. Nevertheless, i got only around 425-435 with the beta 19 on most AB9's that have been trough my hands.

Alot of so called high FSB are nothing more than benching purposes. Not many are really stable. The P5W64 is getting more and more tempting though.

It's a good question. If we don't watch the overclocking results, then my favourite board maybe the Asus P5W DH Deluxe (for the sake of the WiFi-AP Solo and the remote controller and the good-looking design). If I'd overclock I'd choose the Asus P5B Deluxe (and mabye I'll change my DS3 to a P5B Deluxe). I like the Award BIOS that Asus boards' use and the 8 pin power connector is nice too. Altough the integrated sound card very poor, so I have to buy a SB Audigy or something like that.

I only know the Asus P5LD2-VM DH mATX mobo, but it's limited about 300-320 MHz FSB.
