here is my friend from nordichardware with my X6800 and a fully modded ABIT AW9D-MAX and corsair mem i dont have his validation link i copied from our forum, here ju have 500+fsb on conroe with a 4M L2 conroe and thats nice and it's run on a cascade.

yes thats why i wrote that was my frind that done the run because they whant to see som 500 fsb on conroe 4mb L2, and as it was my cpu that was runnig so i just show it i will not take no creds for crotales run it was just for show to them that 500+ run..

I want to see these 500+ fsb runs on water or air, all i see is phase change for 500 and being honest that paints a poor picture as chilling the CPU will help other components also as they don't have to drive as hard.

I have 14beta 01 but until Abit release it you won't see it leaked from me.

I can boot at 500 1333 1:1 but im dropping back below 470 to get memtest running with a 6400. water and air cooled board, CPU VTT mod 1.8V

wow tony that's a pretty high cpu vtt!

i ran water/air and never put the vtt higher than 1.55 (as recommended by hipro)....

i wonder if the board woulda gone farther with more... woulda been interesting to try... too bad i got rid of the board

I have tried every voltage I can all the way to 1.9V and it still stops dead...im still tweaking.

at least a review which wasn't "sponsored" and which did say the truth

look at rest of reviews and all mention an oc monster (cough cough), is an oc monster but on phase and up ..

Those are a huge jump. With the 1.3 and 1333 I struggle to get 476. My board seems to be somewhat crabby now. I don't know if it is the bios or I need a OS re install.

I needed that 1.8v CPU VTT as well. I have given up hope that Abit can add this feature when hipro said it can't be controlled via BIOS (though I still believe it can since the mobo supports a wide range of CPU that has different CPU VTT) http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...115839&page=68

Though I long for that BIOS as well, I guess it's another 3mos before it's going to be released much like that BIOS13 and I am not willing to wait that long anymore. I am going Asus Commando as soon as it is released here where I live. This board is great for Conroe, but my Kentsfield longs for more.

Now if only they'd also sell Bad Axe 2 here ....

Me and Peter played around a bit on his pretty-much-unmodded board today, only thing changed is that the heattrasferthingies were replaced with AC5, got a max FSB @ 428 with 1066 strap and FSB 453 with 1333 strap. So there is pretty much to gain with the new bios

i am on alpha bios, is great.. dosnt give me more fsb but i can run my memory at 1066 now without problems.

before i was crashing all the time at that speed.. things start looking good

the 1333strap is a no go for me, cant boot at 402 fsb :p

just flashed with floppy and it was success. still cpu features is no go but well that's life. Some minor changes here and there, bios is dated as 2.1.2007

edit: well what i did with my fans was good for cpu but not so good for mobo as it's now hitting 67c(1.9v) when runnig orthos...need to fix that asap.
